Hair
Throwing this in this room because I dont know where it belongs, however, I just shaved my legs for the first time in years, and I beg to know if anyone has suggestions on a way to 1. Remove hair easily, 2. Keep it off for longer periods, and 3. Address the balls?

Re: Hair
Hey @LostnNeverLand,
My advice would be to go slowly and do test areas first.
Removing hair from a very large area of the body can cause a breakout of pimples. Although it might seem like little more than an annoyance, having a very large section of your skin infected can become serious very quickly. The skin contains one of the largest parts of the immune system.
Once the skin is accustomed to being denuded of hair, larger areas can be done.
Shaving is the least expensive per application.
However, shaved hair both grows back faster and causes stubble.
Professional waxing is expensive per application.
Waxing takes about six weeks to grow back in and the hair that does grow back is fine. So there is no stubble.
The first time a male gets waxed it hurts like hell. There are some seriously funny videos on the youtube machine of men getting their legs waxed for charity. In one, the man says to the esthetician, "good God, woman, have you no mercy?".
HOWEVER, only the first time hurts. Men's hair grows thicker and deeper than women's hair does. So, pulling out large areas quickly hurts. In six weeks, it doesn't hurt at all because of the type of hair being pulled out. On the second time, the hair is fine and hasn't matured yet. If you keep it up every six weeks, it won't hurt save for the first visit.
Laser hair removal is expensive. The technology has improved greatly since it was first introduced. Originally, it only worked on dark hair growing from light skin. But, today's systems work pretty much across the board. Still, you might be advised to not tan while undergoing laser hair removal. Unlike waxing, after six to eight treatments, there should be no hair regrowth.
Nair and other chemical depilatories. They work very similarly to waxing in some ways. They are inexpensive. Regrowth is only of fine hairs and there is no stubble.
HUGE DOWNSIDE TO NAIR is that leaving the chemical on for even a minute too long can cause very serious chemical burns. My advice is that if the instructions are for "Three to Five Minutes" then leave it on for the least amount of time on the bottle. Get a clock with a second hand on it that you can see from in the shower. Don't guess at the time. The strength differs in the formulas. So, read the instructions and use the shorter of the two times.
You might not get perfect results with the shorter time and that is OK, you can try again. WAIT AT LEAST FIVE DAYS before reapplying and still use the shorter time again. It might take two or three applications the first time but, better that than a nasty chemical burn. NEVER EVER NEVER EVER use Nair or similar products on your balls.
Remember YMMV and if you see an infection, chemical burn from Nair or a heat burn from waxing, go to the doctor.
OK, lastly is ball hair.
Ball hair can be pulled out (similar to waxing) and doing so will take six weeks for it to grow back. Some estheticians say they can wax a scrotum but, generally, it is not recommended to wax the ball sack because of the risk of pulling off the whole scrotum or part of it.
So, for scrotum hair its either shaving or laser.
Shaving a scrotum takes time and the endurance of Job. No matter how long you spend in the shower shaving your nuts, you will find spots you missed after the first time. So, plan on it taking at least five showers before you've got a nice and clean ball sack. Then, shaving it in the shower every day will keep it clean of hair. Use a disposable razor and change it at least once a week. Don't use the same razor on your face as you do your nuts. Also, an electric men's shaver will not work on a scrotum - you will end up with a nasty cut.
Laser hair removal on the scrotum is best. If that won't work, then the older technology of electrolysis is the alternative on the scrotum. Don't be worried that the dermatologist's office will think you are strange to want your ball hair removed. They do it all the time. Laser hair removal on the genitals is very common for both men and women.
Let us know what you do and how it works out.

Re: Hair
I epilate and pluck my genital area (scrotum is plucking only!) and epilate around my anus. Done regularly, this is easy and comfortable. I shave my face and armpits. I used to shave all my body hair, but shaving is time consuming, so I now use a body groomer to keep my body hair under control. Not super smooth, but much less than hairy, more quickly and with less skin injury than shaving.

Re: Hair
I have decided to go to the laser. Probably, expensive ... but always it is possible to find offers well priced. AT the end... in a couple of years i have no hair below my neck and is fantastic.
In the past i tried everything... shaving, hair-removers etc but at the end i discovered that i was throwing money

I feel bad for saying this but laser sessions and breast augmentation are covered by Canada healthcare. FFS and hormones aren't though.
Fuck I can't hardly wait about the laser. They said it was to take 3-4 weeks before my first session and I've discontinued my use of serious chemical peels and retin-A 0.1% prescription creams to ready my skin for the burn heh.
A few tips though
Wear sunscreen at all times unless you want dark spots or more wrinkles!!!!!!
Plz go for EU based sunscreens as they have better sun filters than US ones.
And cleanse gently with a foam cleanser and moisturizer, moisturize , moisturize with a non fragrant/non alcohol cream before bedtime.(I use cetaphyl restoraderm and it's pretty easy on the wallet with just a few dabs to skin)
Make sure to clean your pillow on a continual basis to avoid impetigo infections

Re: Hair
I purchased an in home ipl laser, the LumaRx IPL Pro. Several times a day, every single day, I’m reminded how grateful I am that I purchased this product. While it is not as initially effective as an office procedure laser session, it still does an excellent job. I zapped my full body starting a year ago, and I’ve never been happier. Phytoestrogen & Anti-Androgen Herbs will also slow hair growth. I use Pueraria Mirifica to feminize & grow breasts, but Anti-Androgens alone will slow hair growth, most notably Spearmint Tea and Red Reishi Mushroom.

Re: Hair
Most time i all ways shaved my self(the public region), it quick and it works well but i didn't like the regrowth, how quick it grows backs and the stubble you get.
Did try the cream and they worked ok but couldn't handle the smell of them.
I have just started waxing myself, you right what you say it hurts like hell and you know the your senses are working on the first time you do it. It was quite amazing what it looked like the first waxstrip pull, looking at the area seeing all the small holes where all the hair came from and with a very small amount of blood in some of the holes. When i looked at tbe used wax strip and seeing all my public hair roots standing up just like a 3 to 4 day growth on your face, you start to understand why it hurt so much .
I did find the regrowth much finer and softer, its was about 6 to 7 weeks before you started to notice the fine hairs again.
The second time was much easier to do lots less pain, I find i get a better, cleaner and a complete job done waxing now, its so much easier to get all the all off you shaft and empty scrotum and all skin feels so much more softer now.
There are a couple of down side to waxing i find they are it take more effort, makes a bit more of mess and more time to do it and you may get a couple of ingrown hairs to deal with.
But i happy with that, would like to try laser ,but have been told because i have blond/fair colour hair it may not work for me.
