Same here.

I was put on HRT a month after my second testicle was removed. I had started light hot flashes (they were not too interruptive of my life) so my uro put me on for bone density. As I am now 17 years later, I am wondering if I need to stay on the TRT (I am 81, woll be 82 in a couple of moths)

BTW I still have my prostate but whenever I can accomplish it,, when can succeed in having a little sexual excitement, I find I do not have an ejaculaion. I wonder if I shoud be concerned. My last PA test was 4.2 up from 3.69 a year ago. Too bad I can,t talk the Dr into removing the prostate AND penis. With no balls, I don't think I need them. No transition except to Nullo.

I had a 12 something psa in 2019. Had a 12 point biopsy that showed no cancer in the removed tissue. My psa did spike after stopping androcur after 3 months. Has reduced each test since. Was still 2.5 last test , still high for a 56yo. When it was up in the double digits I asked my urologist if I could just have my prostate removed. She thought I was crazy! My father, his brother and my cousin all died within 12 months of prostate cancer diagnosis, so i didnt think it was that crazy a request. She left the practice for maternity leave. Our last conversation ended with her saying it would not happen and I pointed out if I was a woman with equivalent symptoms I would be having my womb and probably ovaries removed that afternoon.

My PSA is now just below 1.0, along with T of 57 ng/dL. I feel better than ever, likely thanks to estradiol and progesterone.
