Voluntary older eunuchs, nullos, and penectomized men (age 50+) - I need your help!

Hi everyone!

I have a SERIOUS researcher asking me for a few individuals to relate their stories of how they became who they are now, and about their thoughts and concerns for Eunuch/Nullo/Penectomized men and elder care, end of life care, and hospice care. The people who interact with him are allowed to stay anonymous, but the goal is to relate to the "powers that be" in WPATH, USPATH, etc. that we have a community, and it is going to need elder care at some point, and our needs should be addressed.

The researcher is themselves gender non-conforming and a member of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health), which is the group that is working to establish standards of care for our community.

While I really don't identify with the word transgender as a legitimate word I am a nullified male that has been identified by society as something not normal. And it would be a huge injustice to be treated any different than any other human during the latter years of life when society tends to simply discard and ignore those at the end of their lives. I agree with Kristoff that if it checks out Give them my name as well. After leaving the MoM in July one of my destinations was to ride to New York and spend some time with a dear friend in home hospice care who passed yesterday morning. I am so glad I was able to spend a few weeks visiting and was so sad to see how society treats people during that part of their lives. While this friend was not eunuch etc it brought to mind our precarious place at these times. It was a blessing to be there in order to help his wife and it brought to mind how many in our situation would just be left to be alone and all by ourselves. Yes, I would take part.

For anyone else that is hesitant, I understand and get that completely. If you would like to know how I verified this individual, I will be happy to private message with you and fill you in. I will say that they came to me through a legitimate path that I have very high confidence in, and the researcher is themselves a fully transitioned FtM individual.

The study is trying to be as inclusive as it can be, so he is wanting to cover all aspects of transgenderism and gender non-conformity as best he can.

I know the researcher and have talked with him at various WPATH events. As a counselor, he has been very supportive of the larger trans* community and he is well respected for his work. I hope that members here will respond to his call for information. I expect that what he writes will be valuable for all.

The delay is nothing bad. I'm just in the middle of remodeling my kitchen. At the moment, my weekends are taken up paying attention to that.
