Hi there
Hey there! I just joined a few days ago and this is my first post. I'm a 21 year old trans girl and I've been on hrt since I was 17, self medicating for the first three years. I've tried banding frequently and started doing everclear injections recently because I've become extremely uncomfortable with my body and will probably never be able to afford srs. I mostly joined to gain insight and hear from people in a similar situation.

Re: Hi there
Hey @Shetghostgirl,
Welcome home. You are in the right place. You will hear from other trans men and women in this group. I am not trans but, will offer support in any way I can.
The community here is amazing. It is diverse, large enough to offer a wide range of experiences and small enough to get to know people. So, you will find amazing support here. Keep coming back, keep posting and most importantly, please share your ESH (experience strength and hope) with others. The value to this forum is both in the answers you can get and the ESH you can offer others.
This next piece of experience I offer only to help you understand the group. Because of the topic, the group can be fiercely protective. Protective of its members and the forum in general. So, read as much as you can from the sticky notes on the various forums. After you've put five posts on the forum your private messages will start to work and that helps you get direct information from people who might not want to share in the open forum. I have found that the same protectiveness that keeps me from going too far on the forum makes this a safe place for me to both post and read. I only mention this because sometimes a new member might get an admonishment from a moderator. So, far, you've done nothing wrong and I only mention it "in case".
I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts and getting to know you.
