Vaginoplasty

Post by uuMachine (imported) »

So I’ve been on here for years... I live as male, act masculine for the most part, don’t dress as female nor have desire to; but I have always thought my genitals were inappropriate for me and have always fantasized that I had female genitals. Well vaginoplasty is scheduled for December 10th and insurance approved. Unless I chicken out.

One of my biggest fears is dating men after since I’ve always lived as a gay male, I don’t know how attractive I’ll be to them after...

Hey @uuMachine ,

You are correct that some gay men will not want to date a guy with a vee jay jay. Even if everything else "clicks" the vaginoplasty might turn them off.

That is their issue and their problem. If you have the courage to go through with the surgery, you will feel better about you body and will feel more comfortable. One of the nice things about living in the 21st Century is online dating sites allow for descriptions. So, if a guy isn't interested in dating, it's not like the old days where you'd have to figure out a way to bring up the subject while disco music is playing way too loudly in the background.

Another consideration is the opposite. There will be a group of men who are attracted to you because of the lack of cock and balls. There is a fine line between this being a sexual attraction for them and a fetish. A sexual attraction is similar to preferring men who have blond hair yet, they wouldn't refuse a date with someone with dark brown hair. A fetish would be a guy unable to get off or have sex with anyone other than someone with blond hair. That there was a human under that light-colored hair doesn't occur to them.

Either way, good luck and you know where to find support.

Out of curiosity, what type of procedure are you getting? There's a newer one that just got developed and I wonder if you might consider waiting for it to be available.

So I’ve read about that procedure as far as I understand only like 1-2 surgeons have done it. I’ve been wanting it for 40 years I really don’t want to wait. I’ve gone thru couple of thousand getting hair removed if I don’t go for it I may never do it. The other reason is if they use penile and scrotum skin it will feel like my penis inside out. If they use tissue from inside the body which nerves aren’t the same I think it may not have the same feeling

I'm a little jealous, cause I've often thought the same thing. Although up till very recently I've not had a thought of going to the extreme and actually getting it done. However with my recent orchi and removal of the scrotum, the thought has been in my mind more. I think if I ever do do it, i'd go with the ZDV (zero depth vaginoplasty). There is probably zero chance of actually doing it because of my wife.

People ask are you partnered and I’m not.

I finally realized that I can never be with someone and keep this secret and have a successful relationship. So if I have the genitals I’ve always wanted and I meet someone they know up front

I was around seven or eight when I learned that they could change boy genitals into girl genitals. I have wanted it ever since.

I fully intend to do the same. Id love to hear more about finding a doctor thats open to vaginoplasty without transition. I definitely want to stay male but with a vagina.

What is this newer procedure called?
