There is no way I would get my dentist to fix my air con. or my air con guy to do my teeth. I know it sounds simple but I am an authorized safety inspector. Sad as fuk. Needs and desperation.

I've always found it intriguing how castrating someone else will land you in jail, but if you do it yourself you can get away with a brief psychiatric evaluation... It's a massive hypocrisy.

Unfortunately cost and gatekeeping are barriers to healthcare that can drive the desperate to underground providers. There were some cases in Australia of ridiculous underground dentists gluing bridgework to gums, amongst other things.

Considering how many livestock and pet castrations are done every year for very low prices, and with few deaths, why is it that men still have such a tough time with finding competent castrators. With animals castrating is fully accepted and openly and publically encouraged with no problem in getting castrated. Some cities even have laws that require spaying and castrating of pets for population control to reduce the number of unwanted pets.
Why isn t voluntary human castration being offered and accepted as fully as routine animal castrating ? Just another option for men and an unfailing male birth control method. For men done having kids, and non breeders wanting it, this surgery should be as available as a free choice for men over 18 years old as vasectomies have become for men.
Women have hysterectomies all the time without jumping through all kinds of psychiatric hurtles to prove they are not crazy. And older men get castrated for prostate cancer in untold numbers. Now transgenders are getting emasculated more and more. So, regular men choosing it shouldn t be treated as criminal or insane.

I feel once a man reaches the age of 40, he should be able to go the doctor and ask for castration or emasculation and only have to answer two questions " Have you taken plenty of time to make sure this is what you want to live with the rest of your life" and if the answer is yes then "When would you like to schedule surgery. Maybe someday.

We are a threat to the patriarchy! Reeeee!
But seriously, I think that the men who dominate the medical establishment find castration personally threatening, do not know how to explain it to their peers, and avoid performing castrations unless they can explain why. The recent recognition of eunuchs as a nonbinary transgender identity is great because it correctly places us into the category of transgender and needing healthcare. This fits the medical model because it explains why, for us, castration is healing not harming.

The more time I spend on this site and reading about the lifelong desires of others, many in their 50's and older, it makes me wonder about a life without my own balls. Strangely, I'm no threatened by it. It just seems curious to me now, though I'm not saying it's something I have to act on - or want to act on.

Correction, we are not recognized at this point, doctors are simply more willing to treat us under the DSM V classification, 302.6 Unspecified Gender Dysphoria.
I can tell you that it is being worked on to have gender non-conforming folks who are non-binary (IE Eunuchs), added into the DSM V in a new classification. That has not happened yet and is what Jesus here, and others, are working towards.

That would be truly awesome being recognized as a non-binary transgender identity for eunuchs. Lets do whatever it takes to achieve that recognition. Screw the 'patriarchs'. We're gonna roll over them. Let me know what I can do to help.

Yes, screw the 'patriarchs' up to a point. Remember that the pendulum doesn't stop swinging. And there was a time prior to Sado and Nero when to be Eunuch was a powerful political position. Unfortunately those times saw it's position abused to the point that the Eunuch became a poison to society until the eunuch became persecuted and put to death as well as those who made them so. We need to fit into society not become a separate society unto ourselves. But I applaud the efforts in attempt to give us the option and choice of non-binary rather than forced into one of the other.
