Having It Done (Castraition, Rape, and hatred of Feminists)

Post by Astromancer (imported) »

I'm reacting to this horror story. I want to ask some questions.

Isn't forced castration equal to rape? The main difference being, rape ends, castraition is for life. Therefore, if we recognise that a woman durring an ongoing rape has the right to kill her attacker in self-defense, doesn't the victim of involuntary and malicious castraition have the right to kill his castraitor, at any chance he gets, for as long as he remains castrated?

Real Feminists believe that human rights should not be abridged on account of the sex of the human in question. This being the case, wouldn't a real Feminist have supported Billy in his desire to retain his natal sex? Women get that right in this story. How could a real Feminist, even one of the obnoxious self-rightous ones support such a hellish degradation?

Moreover, isn't this story a nasty portrait of women? The idea that no substancial group of women would want to protect and nurture their sons is obscene. There have always been women who bucked the trend. When the Late Victorian Purity Crusades tried to abolish sex, women, far more than men, stood out from the crowd and demanded the right to FREE LOVE! Real Feminists in a world like this story depicts would be teaching the men to organise and fight! Why do so many of the stories on these boards depict Feminists as psychopaths?

Please, lets discuss these questions, particularly this hatred of Feminists. The rights to control our bodies, define our genders, and express our true sexuality, are FEMINIST goals. Why depict them as nazis?
