Sounds good man, I just dont get out that much. Perhaps they can do a mobile service for the rural guys. Could also reduce the shortage of sperm donors?

And the rectal exam does not hurt at all if you relax and push out your anus to help the dr s finger slip up your ass ! Just like opening up for anal sex with a finger that is way smaller than a penis. Drs appreciate us taking it without all the " I m not gay. I m embarrassed by this. " act that many men put on for their drs. Just be a man, bend over, spread your legs wide, and let your dr lube your asshole and insert his finger inside you. It feels odd if you are not a bottom man. But it is pleasurable on your prostate to be stroked and massaged. Its perfectly normal to dribble some clear pre cum as your prostate is pressed on to feel for any lumps in it. The dr gives you paper towels to wipe off the lube on your ass and wipe the pre cum off your penis yourself, after he is done feeling your prostate.

Its well worth hearing the words, " You have the prostate of a healthy young man, nothing wrong there ! "

I don't mind the prostate exam. It's the part where the doctor wants to hand me the same nasty box of tissues every other guy has used to clean up with.

So, I get it straight upfront exactly how the same doctor that had no problem putting on gloves, finding the lube, inserting a finger up bum and then removing the glove plans to clean up the mess using something sanitary that hasn't been touched by five dozen men all with poop on their hands from the multiple times they touched the box after wiping up the KY in their now dirty crack.

I can't think a more efficient way of spreading HPV than that box of tissues in the exam room.

I'm very nice about it and even suggest a warm wet paper towel followed by a dry one (clean of course) but, I don't waver in the fact that they will clean it up. A dry tissue doesn't cleanup KY anyway.

Hahaha, you re right. I m just too much of a brute to have thought about that when I was busy wiping myself off. I m so busy being thankful the dr says my prostate is healthy and dealing with ropes of pre cum trailing down that I m not thinking about disease transmission. Once you re lubed with KY or surgical gel, it takes a shower to clean off. But overall, its not nearly as bad as men fear it will be. Having a family full of prostate cancer deaths, I m always eager to get mine checked.

Simple answer: as long as you have a prostate, you can get prostate cancer. Castration may reduce the risk, if you don't get T replacement therapy, but castration is not suitable to prevent cancer completely.

Just as post menopausal women still get breast cancer, even though they no longer produce estrogen.

I think the only time they will consider an orchie for PC is if you choose the hormone therapy option to control the condition.

What they do I believe is give you anti androgens like Androcur and maybe throw in a bit of progesterone to help with any nasty side effects.

As reported here in the chemical castration pages your liver might not like being on these meds long term so a bilateral orchie is offered.
