Forcing surgical castration

Post by QTKaatje (imported) »

Let's say I've got a script for Androcur but my endo finds out that my liver is failing (because I've secretly been taking Flutamide), what are the chances I'll get an orchiectomy?

Note: This is in Europe, where people get bitchy about castrations...

The chances are they'll try something else or work on fixing your liver before they give you an orchiectomy. Do you want to be castrated? That's the question and if your answer is "yes", then you might have to leave Europe and spend some money to get it done. Malaysia, Thailand, etc. Take a holiday and go to one of these countries for castration.

Hmm I've never heard of people getting it done in Malaysia before... What are the requirements there? I know that I'd need at least a letter from a Thai psych in Thailand, which I'm not sure on how to get.

On the other hand, if I'm going to Thailand anyway I might as well go for full srs.

I just contacted a med travel place and they advised that a Thai psych letter was required but it was all part of the package, they will refer you to the right places to obtain what you need. It seems to be an industry all to itself but many get great results from it.

I've found at least 2 surgeons in the US who will do as I request with the proper letters. Transgender therapists are easy to find and some do online sessions.

I have heard there are links to folks that do therapists letters online at the Metzler clinic website.

$100 a pop.

Metzler has got a very bad reputation as a surgeon. Do some investigating before using him.

A med travel place huh... I wonder if we have such a thing around here. Sounds very interesting, but I have no idea where to even look for it.

I read on Dr. Thep's page:

Before you come to Clinic For SRS Slot Schedule>make sure you have 2 guaranteed Certificates From Thai Psychiatrists that you are 100%Ready or try again.

Ideally I'd have these two referrals ready before even booking the trip but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Also, I'm wondering what the requirements would be for getting a referral.
