Hi. I've been lurking for a bit and decided to register.

I'm a transgender woman who's been on HRT for 16 months, but that's about as far as I'm going to get.

For the past 8 months my varicocele has become increasingly painful and I'm desparately looking for guidance.

This looks like a really lovely community and I'm thankful for being allowed to register.

I have a buddy who had his varicocele surgically removed years ago. He said there was nothing to it and the surgery and healing up both went perfectly for him. His varicocele went undiagnosed and made him infertile. No dr could figure out why he was infertile. They didn t see his big varicocele ! How I don t know ! He studied up on his own anatomy by himself. Figured out that he had a major varicocele, and showed it to his dr. After his surgery, he got his wife pregnant and they ve been making babies like champs ever since. Now he s thinking its vasectomy time to turn off his extra fertile sperm factories !

Welcome to the best site that exists for the many different types of eunuchs. Yes, there are so many different types as you'll find going through the many experiences shared in these archives. Read lots of them and take each as just more information to help guide yourself along your journey in life. You've no doubt had many negative experiences with the medical community. Although that seems to be rapidly changing as they evolve to a more modern philosophy on how to treat gender issues and men's health issues around our sex organs.

What I really want is an orchiectomy, especially since I've been struggling to keep my androgens suppressed lately. But I live in Europe and people just don't do that over here.

I've been hoping that it would die off if I just let it get worse, but I doubt I'd have that kind of luck.

Yeah the medical community has let me down pretty badly, and I got scammed by my health insurance provider as well recently. I really hope that things will be better for the next generation.

Yeah, people keep telling me I can get everything I want with a "Gender identity disorder" diagnosis and that insurance will pay for everything.

Well guess what, after a long and painful pathologisation process I got diagnosed and I still get nothing and insurance won't pay for anything. I've worked really hard to conform to WPATH standards, but apparently that doesn't mean anything.

I really hate it when people tell me that "it's so easy".

I really wish that people didn't have to consider DIY procedures, but here I am...

So much misinformation and rose-coloured glasses about the WPATH standards depending on jurisdiction and interpretation. Insurance providers and the care providers have been known to kinda play by their own rules book with it, which just turns up the frustration. I encountered the medical bureaucracy a bit before I transitioned with my previous pain issue (also due to variocele like yours), but coming out didn't make life much easier doing all the legwork to get things going (later to be stiffed by a care provider on the subject of a letter for GRS).

Tough breaks like that can lead someone on a race through dark places. I say that from hard experience .

You should be aware that there are NO WPATH standards for MtE or anything to do with eunuchism except as it applies to MtF. The MtE standards are being worked on now and will be submitted for consideration, but they are NOT in place. Any doctor demanding WPATH qualified letters is asking for something that is non-existent at this time, as far as eunuchism is concerned. Some doctors will do MtE with a psych letter, but that has nothing to do with WPATH, and only has to do with the doctor concerned covering his ass.

To be honest, every doctor is just concerned with covering his own ass. No single doctor on the planet would ever consider risking his career for your well-being, no matter if you're MtF or MtE. Even my psychologist told me "People just want to do this for a couple years, get rich and retire."

Even if you happen to be the most binary trans woman ever, you still need to go begging for it for over half a decade until you find someone who's willing to cooperate. It's ridiculous! It really doesn't matter if you've been having these feelings for multiple decades or not.

For now, DIY is really the only realistic option if you need help.
