Re: 9 months no HRT
Is it normal to feel overly anxious when going off testosterone I thought it was my upcoming surgery but mentally I'm ok with that now. The doctor gave me something for the anxiety but I'm still anxious I can't even watch tv I'm listening to soft music but I'm all tensed up. Is this all in my head?

Re: 9 months no HRT
I understand what your saying but it is a self image thing completly, thinking you are less than with your balls. You indicated you are gay or bi sexual. I assure you, You are not less than due to being castrated. Many many if not almost all gay, bi sexual even those who identify as straight are sexually attracted to those castrated without balls. I can relate to being without testosterone and the physical effects, I too am castrated by choice and I do not like not feeling physically sexually aroused or not being able to have an orgasm no matter how hard i try to have one. mentally, even without T I remain a sexual creature but it is frustrating without T my body like yours does not respond. You may decide to do as I am doing, going off T for awhile till your body will no longer sexually function then going back on a lower dose. That is what I intend to try. For me there is a sexual aspect of denial , deny myself physical sexual response while my mind still desires sexual activity, kind of like being physically sexually cuckold instead of a cock cage and a lot more effective. Depression, lack of energy being very submisive is the reasons I doubt I will remain off testosterone much over a month maybe a month an a half no more than . from what I have read takes about a month plus or minus a week or two for all the testosterone since your last dose to be out of your system. I wish you well. Just remember, be proud to be ball less, there are many who adore those without balls

Re: 9 months no HRT
Its been a month since my last shot and all libido is gone and I'm finally at peace with the world. I'm happy finally I had the best day yesterday since before my castration yesterday. I've found a chat room and some people who have similar loss of testicles not voluntary but medically necessary like me. I've finally found a place where I can talk one on one with others like me in real time and it's nice. I've never used a chat room before I've tried to use the one on here but couldn't figure out how to use it. This morning I had my first sexual dream in my life and it was very disturbing for me to experience. When I awoke I was flaccid and wasn't sexually excited but appalled about the whole experience. I've never had a nocturnal emission in my life. So I've never experienced this before. I've always excessively masturbated since 6th grade when I figured it out by my self by humping my pillow. Then I figured out how to masterbate by using my hand. I had nobody to tell me about sex and what I was going through. Puberty scared me too death I thought I was dying of cancer or some disease. I'm now 53 years old and finally experiencing this it is strange for me.

Re: 9 months no HRT
Hormone imbalance can lead to a number of issues and affects men in different ways and to different degrees. Since stopping TRT two years ago my body eventually "settled", but with some side effects. First I rapidly gained about 20lbs, mostly in belly and butt fat. Of course my libido waned but did not completely disappear. I never had serious hot flashes but did experience occasional night sweats. I was able to maintain some penis size until I went for nearly a year not exercising it through masturbation (penetrative sex was virtually impossible without a pump and constricting band that ended up not worth the effort). The biggest issues I have now are fatigue and cognitive (I call it CRS disease - "can't remember shit"). Also, I am overly concerned with bone density loss (osteoporosis). I grew breast for which I now wear a bra. Recently I have been researching replacing not testosterone but estrogen to overcome some of the side effects of castration. I've read some very promising things about estrogen therapy and will talk to my urologist this week for his opinion. Otherwise, I have been very happy as a Eunuch and only want to attend to my health. In summary, castration effects men in a multitude of different ways and the trick is to find treatments to deal with the side effects that make you uncomfortable.

Re: 9 months no HRT
This is so strange to me. I've gone over 6 months with no T and no problems getting an erection at all. Maybe a tiny bit more give to it than usual, and I stop getting random ones and rarely feel the urge to masturbate
I usually take 50-100 mg/week of test cyp. It's nice, gives a mood boost and makes my dick grow back to almost normal size because of the random erections. I took 250mg last week because with COVID I wanted to do the injections less often, cuz there's some tiny medical risk, suddenly now I'm a 14-year old boy again getting random painful boners every time the breeze picks up and horny as all hell, masturbated 8 times yesterday and it was fun for a day but it's TOO MUCH and I want OFF THE RIDE!
To me test cyp is absolutely identical but I enjoy cruising around with about half my pre-surgery dose. Just strange how it affects everyone differently!

Re: 9 months no HRT
I had been castrated because of uncontrolled testicular pain after a vasectomy. I was also taking testosterone 200 mg every other week.
I developed prostate cancer and had to stop the testosterone.
Looking back I found that somewhere between eight to ten weeks after stopping testosterone my erections stopped.
I did not even realize it at the time since my sexual desire and sex drive had also gone away.

Re: 9 months no HRT
In my last post I did not give the correct ng/dl.
The free T was 50 pg/ml.
Even so, i am now weaning myself off of the T Gel and hope to be T Free by the end of the month.

Re: 9 months no HRT
After I had my orchiectomy I was masturbating more than normal. I did not even notice at the time but somewhere about five or six weeks after my surgery that my sex drive was gone and I had stopped touching my penis but to urinate. I must have become impotent about the same time but did not even notice.
