Prostate size after castration, surgical or chemical

Hi all, was just wondering if anyone has experience with this. I have been chemically castrated twice for short periods, and recently, while not castrated, had my prostate measured and biopsied. Was a normal size/ volume. Does the prostate shrink significantly after orchiectomy or prolonged chemical castration?

I dont know, but you left out whether the prostate in question was enlarged or normal size prior to chemical castration

Yes, prostate should shrink after castration. I remember that it was measured on eunuchs, castrated at young age, and prostate was undectetable in them. I can't point the source right now. But these eunuchs were chinese eunuchs.

And that would be shrinking ONLY if you don't subsequently start using testosterone replacement after your testicles are removed.

Hello; After reading this part. I would like to add, about shrinking, Now after having prostate surgery, for Cancer to have it removed. One year later , Now I had cancer where the prostate was, After Radiation I have shrunk to the point where the boys are about half the size they where., My Right one is very soft and about 1/4 of the size it used to be. If it shrinks any more, it will almost be gone.The other part that shrunk was ( Willy ). it is almost 1 inch, and about the size of my little finger. This part is where I have to set to Pee. My Testosterone is down to 104, at last Blood test.

Thru all this the pain in the boys was was Bad. And the Doctor would not remove the right one. Now thru all of this I have to wear a Catheter for the rest of my life. I do feel fine, And I do look at the other side, and say I am looking at Green Grass in the morning and say Thank You Lord, I am still here playing with my Cars.
