Phantom Erections

Even after my orchiectomy well over two years ago and ditching testosterone over a year ago, I would still wake up occasionally with an erection. I always took full advantage of them when they occurred as they were not that frequent. However, in the last six months the only way I could get even a partial hard on was to use a pump and constricting band.

Anyway, my little guy seems to be completely dead now. Whereas he used to hang about four inches flaccid he is now withered and barely measures an inch. My urologist attributes the impotence and shrinkage not to lack of testosterone but to arterial sclerosis due to thirty years of smoking. Now doubt he's right.

Anyway, I have recently twice now awaken in the morning horny as hell and with the sensation of a full erection, only to reach down with excitement to find just the shriveled lump of skin that is my penis. It feels good to massage and continues to feel to me as if it's rock had even though it's just the same little nub.

I suppose it could be called a phantom erection. Has anyone else experienced this phenomena ?

Although I only went without T for around 8 months last year I did not fully loose the ability to get some form of soft erection.

It would usually only be about 75pc hard though and even with stimulation I guess 80pc was the best I could manage.

What was weird you would sort of have the feeling of getting hard down there but on closer inspection only find that not to be the case.

I guess there is something in these phantom erections.

Yes, during my first Androcur trial, it was one of first signs that it started to work. I woke up with the itchy feeling in my penis, like it was about to getting hard, but instead it was barely hard, almost limp.

I've had the same experience. In my case I'm relieved to find that it's not close to a full erection.

I appreciate that is the desire of many, but I dearly loved my hard dick and although can coax an erection with some effort and tools it's often just more work that it's worth. Breaking out the pump, the band and messy lube just ruins the mood. However, when I got dressed this morning I noticed there was less bulge in my briefs than my wife has in her panties. So out comes the pump this weekend to see if we can't fluff things up a bit down there. Photos of some smooth underwear posted on my blog that might make a pre-op MtF envious - but that's just not my thing.

Since no two Eunuchs are alike in the desire and post-op results, I went on your wonderful blog and I wished for same results for me. I have low T levels for a really long time and suppose to rubbed on a double dose of Testosterone Gel, butt haven't in several months, I still get a morning softee rather than a full on woody. One of these days when I am retired have all the time needed to recover (work sucks), I would love to go full smooth nullo down there.

When I was castrated in 2002, I had no feeling below the inguinal incisions. My pubes, penis and scrotum were completely numb. I could get an erection but not feel it. Only the pressure on the ligaments. The feeling returned in just under a year. Although I am on TRT, I only get early morning 'full on' erections, nothing on demand. I can still masturbate and ejaculate with a soft cock. I guess the spontaneous erections are whats maintaining my penis size?

I don't really get phantom erections. I have found the soft penis very sexy and figured out ways to masturbate to an intense climax while it is totally soft. Basically, I tuck the little stump into my body and rubbed it from the outside.

In the rare occasional desire for a real woody, Viagra works for me. Definitely hard, but rarely hard enough for penetration.
