Prostate atypical small ancir proliferation

Post by Chesleyt (imported) »

Anybody know anything about this? I just got a notice from the Cleveland clinic prostate letter and it was the subject. I had a prostate biopsy last April and they found atypical small ancir proliferation in one of the areas of prostate the letter from Cleveland clinic said it is a precancerous condition and can turn into cancer has anyone else had this and it turn into cancer. I'm going to talk to my urologist and see if he can do another biopsy because that's what they recommend. Please let me know if anyone has gone through this. Thanks

I talked to my urologist yesterday and he said he will be doing another biopsy as soon as I'm healthy again I just had my last testicle removed a week ago and I also have a bad case of prostitis he said after I'm healthy he will do it because if he does it to soon before my prostate is strong again it will never be healthy again. There's a 30 percent chance that I have prostate cancer. Also because of the constant infections that increases the likely hood of it if it's not positive I will be under watch because the likely hood of it turning into cancer in the future is good. If it's cancer I'm going to tell him that I want it removed I might have it done anyways as a propilactive because prostate cancer runs in the family and kills also other cancer is common in the family so I would rather be aggressive about this. I will have a talk with my urologist about this.

My advice would be to slow down. Men have died from infections following prostate biopsy. It's not as safe as your urologist may be telling you. Prostate removal can also be dangerous. I'd give it a few months to see what your PSA is doing. Being off testosterone may be your best treatment at this time.
