I have received a question from a person who is currently doing a literary analysis of part of the Eunuch Archive fiction. She chose the 100 stories that have received the most 5-star ratings. She was concerned that 20 of the top-rated stories involved minors (boys below the age of 19 in her jurisdiction).

I did a quick check, and of the 8762 stories currently posted, 3528 (40.26%) involve minors. Double the percentage found in the top-rated list. I also checked the (yet unpublished) data in the most recent survey that we ran on the EA community. We asked only those who had already been castrated that, if they had their life to live over, at what age would they want to have been castrated. Twelve was the most commonly chosen age and one-quarter (25.95%) choose an age of 12 or under. Another quarter chose an age of 18 or younger. The stories that have been posted under represent the actual wishes of those already castrated and the top stories are only half of even that percentage.

A post that I recently made on Eunuch Central titled "Survey Question" (http://forums.eunuch.org/showthread.php ... y-Question) asked that question for all EA members willing to respond, but more importantly asked why that particular age, a question we've not asked before. So far 27 “wannabes” have responded and 15 (56%) of them chose an age of 18 or younger.

A theory that has been discussed for Male-to-Female themed stories published before transition became legally available is that, since one could not come out publicly about MtF desires, the stories had the protagonist “forced” into something that he actually desired in real life. How many of the authors of minor-themed EA stories either wish that they had been castrated at the ages in their stories or, at least, thought seriously about it at that age?

I have written few stories, but never published, and yes, the minor that is going to be castrated in these stories is me. And yes, it all started back then.

It makes sense to me if people are writing it as a mechanism as to what their own desire is, IE I wish I would have been castrated as a minor.

I tend to enjoy most the stories that are written where the folks are young adults, but I have to admit I see myself in some of the stories where minors are involved. I can remember feeling and wondering why those things were part of my body as young as 6-8 years old, and it was a great relief when I was finally able to rid myself of those things which didn't belong. I'm more comfortable in my body now, and far more so than at any point when I possessed my penis and testicles.

I write for myself, and my subjects are around 9-10 years old, because that's exactly when I first wanted to be a eunuch. The desire was sexual in its non-sexuality, and entirely self-contradictory. It started with masturbatory fantasies based on boys at a ballet/play I saw and interacted with (mom was involved in community productions, etc.); I read a lot at that age and combined that experience with the page-boy / chorister ideas research on eunuchs produced in my head, and came up with a daydream where I was welcomed in to a community of boys who were very friendly with each other, did ballet and gymnastics instead of hockey, and had no interest in actual sex with girls, but were cuddly regardless.

Even though I was raised in a very average, normal, nice, kind, loving family, if my mother (who had a tendency to slightly feminize me in little ways) told me those kids in the show all actually had their balls out so they could dance, sing, and behave better, all obvious lies, I'd have agreed to join them in a shot.

I'm fully conscious of how weird that sounds, and it's definitely weird to put it in words in public. I've never even actually written a story precisely like my original interests as written above, but it definitely influences what I do write.

I write stories mostly about boys aged 8-12 (some involving castration, most not). I never had any thoughts of castration as a boy. I don't recall even being aware of it at that age. The majority of my non-castration stories are things I wish had happened to me at that age. As an adult, I became interested in teasing and denial. I see castration in this context. I enjoy stories where the boy is just beginning to develop sexual feelings, but he is then forever denied the opportunity.

I’m not going to try and get the stuff removed, but it would be nice to have a checkbox when we go through stories to hide such stories for those of us who don’t want them. Again, not condemning those who do want them.

Though a better search function overall would be nice in a general sense.

There have been at least one or two threads addressing this. Unless folks what to step up and help with costs of more complex software to run the EA on, it's likely not going to happen. I'd love keyword search ability myself, but I'm o.k. with where it's at now.

As one of the minors who was reading stories and posts on here under various user names, but never posting anything, I can say you don t have to be 18 or older to be interested in, or turned on by, castration.

The simple truth is that most perfectly normal boys and teens do talk about, joke about, and threaten each other with castration or losing their penis as kidding, injury risks, fears, or insults as soon as they first learn what our balls and penis do for us and begin to experience it first hand beginning at puberty.

Its totally unrealistic to think none of this occurs among males until after they reach 18 years old.

I can certainly see how many men are very uncomfortable with minors being in stories or discussions. Its jail bait in today s hysterical under aged sexual " protection " mania, read other agendas being falsely purported to protect minors from their own sexual identities. But any truthful male or female knows sexual interest and curiousity begins far younger than the foolish 18 years old that people pretend allows a person to first become legally a sexual being by tyrannical government decree.

Everyone does not need to be treated as the most retarded and ignorant being on earth to " protect " those that are actually so impaired. Lots of minors are more sexually able physically, and more responsible with that ability, than many adults are.

I believe lots of stories involving minors are very likely because that is when minors are actively first learning and openly comparing and discussing sex with each other. Years later, most teens are far less willing to openly discuss sex and compare their ideas and their naked and rapidly changing bodies as freely and shame free as they did together at earlier ages. They learn to be more embarrassed and more repressed as teens than as pre teens. I can remember us younger boys rolling our eyes and thinking it was so stupid to compare and compete over who had the biggest penis, or muscles, or other sexual attributes that we saw older boys and teens and grown men worrying about. Same with girls and women, and us watching them comparing and competing over who had the biggest breasts or ass, smallest waist, or whatever. We were young enough not to be indoctrinated into those body images and competitions yet. Those came quickly after puberty started by us younger minors learning those from our immediate elders and adults around us. I can remember a buddy of mine in our pre teens explaining his losing his girlfriend to another guy our age because he had a bigger penis. All of us were amazed that he d even think she d care about their cock sizes when both of them had normal sized dicks in gym and hanging out in full view to everyone of us at the urinals. That idea was totally new to the rest of us boys. But someone had taught him that bigger penises win girls over smaller penises. He felt terrible and seriously thought this was her reason. He never even compared or saw the other guy s erect penis to know who was bigger, only soft comparisons. I highly doubt the girlfriend had ever based her choices on dick sizes at that age either. She would probably have been as, or more surprised than us boys at his reasoning on why she chose the other guy over him. Maybe some people can t remember being sexual as kids. But it was all around us at very young ages. That is reality.

As many of you already know I've been horrified and spellbound by the thought of castration and nullification for as far back as I can remember. When I was 12 I discovered a magazine about family nudist recreation. This magazine had pictures of boys and girls my age playing on a knotted rope suspended over a sandpit. The children were doing tricks and posing for the camera like circus performers.

I thought it looked sort of perilous for the boys. If they slipped they risked rope burns or blows to their naked balls. I felt the activity would've been both safer and more enjoyable if the boys had been nullified and thus didn't have such sensitive parts exposed to possible injury.

That notion excited me like nothing ever had before. If castration/nullification had been socially acceptable and considered somewhat normal and if I'd been offered nullification I might have gone for it. But just maybe.
