Clothing Choices For Self Identifying "Third Sex" Eunuchs

Post by seanthomas (imported) »

These days a lot of clothing is unisex, such as a polo shirt and Levis. A lot of footwear as well is suited to either men or women like Birkenstock sandal or even clogs. But if you consider yourself third sex (neither male not female) an excellent choice of garment it a kilt.

I closed the office early today as nasty weather approached so I had a full afternoon to kill and got bored.

For more than one reason I'm blessed with a lot of Scottish blood flowing in my veins. I don't have a taste for haggis, but do get to wear a kilt (though kilts are definitely not for Scots alone).

Anyway, I posted my views on the garment that might be of interest to the Eunuch community, especially as an option for those identifying as third sex.

"What's worn under a Scotsman's kilt?"

"Absolutely nothing; it's all in excellent working order!"

-Not sure if that's true for the eunuch? ;)

Hehe, I've heard that one before and I always enjoy it. What happens when I become nullo??? At least I don't think I have any Scottish in me veins :P

I love to wear a utility kilt every now and then they are great . Not sure if I would wear one all year round though especially on windy days,😄

There is an amusing AeroMexico ad where they discount your ticket by the % of Mexican in your DNA. Maybe if Aero Auld Reekie had such a program you might be surprised like some of those Texans.

My response is what's under the kilt is a subject best left solely between a Scotsman and the chilled Highland breeze.

Not a lot to rattle, I guess?

We choose clothing to please us and to please others.

At home, you wear what you like. It may be that you feel clothing is too gender-binary in general, and so the genderless might choose jams of any style to fit the mood of the day.

Seems that choosing a new gender-identified clothing in public invites questions as to recent gender transition between binary choices, which is as yet all most of the public seems to understand.

So, we can dress as we like at home, and as they like in public -unless you want to open a whole can of worms....

Well that's why I like a kilt, for it's not a deviation from male clothing that would lead to unwanted assumptions like "you just came out". It would be different if I showed up at work wearing a pink floral dress.

This morning I got a question on the blog asking if it's "cultural appropriation" to wear kilt if you are not Scottish. The answer of course is no. But I just wonder how and why we have become so damn sensitive in this day and age. I'd never heard the term until this year.

There are extra large tall T-shirts (XLT daddy shirts) on sale at the department store right now if you happen to be short but with very long thighs and forearms. -That way your knees will show.
