Has anyone had their testosterone injection act REALLY fast?

I took my testosterone injection this morning, and now here in the early evening I find myself wanting to mate with anything that will stand still for more than 2 seconds. It's making me feel a lot like Mr. Peepers on the late 90's SNL parody of Sex and the City, particularly what he does to that poor fish tank:

Normally, my testosterone injection takes a day or two to kick in.

Anyone have something abnormal like this happen before?

I inject .5 ml once a week and have never noticed a high or low.

Hi I have tried every trt except gel. Cant get it in good ol NZ. The one that I'm on now is 4ml Reandron 1000. Testosterone undecanoate.(Had to read that off the packet.) Its made my Bayer. Intramuscular, in my butt, every 6 weeks. Due next week. I think its in castor oil. apparantly its quite a high dose? according to my endo, who tries to reduce it. I tell him if he does, I'll burst into tears! Never had the the leg humping effect, though sounds interesting. May want to share with a friend? Have had a light headed and an odd mood change immediatly after. I get a nurse to do mine, so the technique and speed of delivery varies. Do feel a drop off of mood, energy at the end of the period, as now. Have convinced a couple of my girl mates to try the T patches, really amusing for them and me!!

Hi Losethem, during the year that I took weekly TRT injections I noticed the following; I deliberately chose Friday mornings for the injections because I began the notice the effect by Friday evening, by then you could say I was starting to get frisky. I noticed it most the following day though, I always woke up on Saturday mornings wanting to have sex.

I do my weekly injections at night and notice I am extra horny the next day or two. Sometimes have nighttime boners that night or wake up with morning wood.

I had the same happen once. My doctor said I'd probably hit an artery or vein, which would make it through the system in no time.

It's hard on the liver.

I've been instructed to draw back the plunger on the syringe a bit to be certain I'm injecting into muscle.

I have to admit that it was a very quick reaction time for me. I've been using this for nearly 10 years now, and this is the first time this has happened. Having been a nurse in the past, I know all about Z-tracking the hormone injection as you put the needle in, drawing the plunger back to make sure you don't "flash" blood in the syringe, etc. None of that happened.

I've also had an incident where I accidentally gave myself the injection IV (into the vein/artery) instead IM (into the muscle). This was much different.

I'll just say this, my boyfriend wasn't upset I was frisky. Still, it was unusual. Normally it kicks in a day or two later. I hope it's a one-off... I like it to be more even in it's absorption.

Used to get 2000 mg T every two weeks and never noticed much in ups and downs. It takes a looong time to wear off on me, like many weeks.
