Good scientist Naomie Harris, the primatologist who raised the gorilla Dwayne Johnson the Rock in all his muscular glory, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan who played NEGAN in The Walking Dead must save Chicago because like all Mad Scientists with only six active brain cells, they called these three beasts to Chicago to take blood samples of them. (Add that to the Evil Overlord list, will ya please!)

And the military wants to drop a MOAB.

●●● It’s a get the popcorn, nachos, beer, wine, whatever you can stuff into your gullet for a two hour movie, plop those under-exercised buttocks onto the couch and vegetate away. It’s Monsters destroy a city fun, fun, fun. It’s exciting enough to be entertaining, Sci-Fi enough to be Frankenstein and explosive enough to keep the eyeballs entertained.

●●● It’s a festival of bad science, silly crashes, lots of conspiracy that entertains but doesn’t fill up the mind with real thinking. Watch Chicago get destroyed again for no reason. Thrill to a giant alligator in the Great Lakes.

“Fugitive Emissions” have more substance than this heaping pile of scientific nonsense. HOWEVER “Fugitive Emissions” are what most Saturday and late night entertainment consists of in the movies.
