That was the age when things became complicated. People were accusing me of being Gay and doing things to run me out of the area. They did not want gays in there town, church, schools.

I chose to have my testicles removed for medical reasons and yet if I could have fully functional natural testicles replaced tomorrow I would decline. Castration suits me as well as my wife.

is age: I wouldn't have gone through marriage, raising children, I could have traveled the world, and possibly enjoyed life differently. (I actually asked my parents about castration at age 8, big mistake!)

Wife currently in cancer treatments, forced into menopause with no sex drive. Depo Provera has helped and she has recently started helping with injections. Intimacy is still in our relationship, but sex is not a concern now for either one of us.

I have never really had any sex drive and sexual feelings. As a teen I never masturbated and didn't even try it until in my early 40s. It still doesn't interest me.

I didn't really know castration or penectomy were options until around that time with the internet. I identify as gay but have no interest in sex or activities beyond

loving and caring about others, being close while cuddling, and really getting to know someone special. This puts me in the ace or asexual category. I do have occasional

spontaneous erections but I don't enjoy or act on that. Having all the parts removed will help me to fully enjoy and embrace the ace that I am.

- Honestly this sounds silly and vain to me, but the best answer I can give is "before hair loss starts getting noticeable." I hated having balls, found them very uncomfortable physically and mentally, but was also very aware and mindful about the fact that after your mid-to-late 20s, T can start causing problems. The first of which is hair loss, then prostate issues, cancer, central obesity leading to heart disease, etc. I realize these happen over decades, but I like the control over sex hormones that not making any gives me, and am working with a doctor to find an ideal balance of sex hormones early in my life. It probably will include both T and E, and change throughout my life, so I can try to milk most of the benefits, without too many of the drawbacks of either hormone. I guess you could say: I found them uncomfortable, but I also fancy myself a bit of a body hacker.
