t age 6, it "clicked" in my head, for the first time, that my "junk" didn't belong. It set forth that my penis and testicles shouldn't be there. I, for years, thought gender reassignment was the only way, until I was 14 when I discovered the words "castration" and "penectomy" for the first time. I wish I could have had been castrated at age 6 (penectomy too) because those feelings/thoughts have never faded.

6. Knew I had both male and female characteristics from about 15, looked and IDed as androgyne but was generally more comfortable when dressed as a girl. Often thought about SRS, castration, transitioning MtF or MtE but delayed doing anything decisive because of external considerations. Once castrated and adjusted to my new sexual status felt that feminized eunuch was 100pc right for me. With hindsight being castrated at 18 would have been better.

By that age and in the great lense of hindsight, I had accomplished what would be good or wonderful with kids. Further my exceedingly high sex drive after that age has benefited me or my marriage little. My wife would say it is nothing but a problem. We contacted MDs but frankly that was a mistake. Now because I work away from home, we get along to a point. At some point in the next few years I will find someone to work with and get a letter and than get this done as a reason 6. My high sex drive is an impediment to a good relationship.

I would have preferred to have been castrated/nullified earlier, maybe as young as age 10. I already knew at that time my body was not right, and since I've had my penis and testicles removed, I'm more at peace, and more comfortable living in this body than I ever was when I had my genitals.

7- Why prefer castration at that age-- like the gender question, I'm glad I got to live as an intact male through my 20s so I could experience "normal" sexuality. Getting castrated (and eventually getting penectomized) feels like evolution. I'd prefer the excitement of evolving through life rather than being born at my ideal end point!
