Is there a trend to continue old stories?

Post by kwanmingmin (imported) »

Well, I have just submitted a sequel to a story I wrote 13 years ago...

Gosh... I just commented on this in the other thread (the new stories one). Amazing to see an author return after such time. Your 'new' post turned into two new ones for me. Thank you for posting!

I like continued stories. From time to time I even continue other people's stories. I need to catch up on the new stories in the index and this is a good reason to start.

I just submitted, Nathaniel of San Carlos Island - Part 1 [G] Atreyu69. It's been about 15 years since I started the series but dreaming up new scenarios about the San Carlos "Universe" is just as much fun now as it ever was and that's what keeps me writing. I feel there's always room on the island for new characters and new adventures. I'm now exploring the idea of what it might be like to be an adult client who is in equal parts spell bound by beauty of the island and its "boys" 😇 but at the same time repelled and sickened 🤮 by the rank immorality and shameless capitalism of the place. 💡

To put it another way, if such an island actually existed and you won an all expense paid vacation there, would you go just to see what it was like or would you stay home to avoid the debauchery and general wickedness? If it was me, I'd like to think I'd stay home but I'm afraid I'd probably go, (but just for research mind you!) 😄

I think a lot of the fiction stories have added adventures and what happened next additions that readers and the original authors would enjoy. New authors adding more can add new and unexpected twists. New ideas from other authors can allow more characters to develop and live on after the first stories end by adding more chapters onto the original stories.

I wish more readers would put comments after the stories they enjoy. The authors deserve to know what readers liked most in their stories. The authors spend a lot of time writing and dreaming up these stories and in putting their own private turn ons and sex fantasies out in the open for all of us to enjoy. The least we can do is to thank them with some positive feedback on who likes their stories and why. I m sure they are very curious to know what kind of men and eunuchs enjoy their stories, their ages, are they gelded or still have balls, str8, bi, asexual, females, or gay. Tops or subs ? And see who their stories appeal to the most.

I couldn't agree more. My personal turn on is writing stories that others enjoy reading. The feedback, both good and bad, helps me to understand if I'm on the right track. I want to give the reader what he wants or perhaps more importantly why he needs on his journey of self discovery. It's all fantasy but fantasy helps us understand who we are. 🙏

The original San Carlos Island story certainly set off a chain reaction for several writers, myself (with Slammr) included! It's probably one of (if not THE) most popular fiction universe at EA.
