Medicine for a small package
Last night on the Batman tribute movie, they described a problem Burt Ward had. Seems he had a sizable package and it showed through the tights. The Catholic Decency league complained. They tried to hide the large bulge, but they failed. So they went to a doctor who perscribed an unnamed drug. He was to take it every 2 hours during shooting and it would keep his package tiny. Burt Ward says he did not know the name of the drug. They did show a scene of his realitively flat front and Burt pulling his tights forward to look. He then told Adam West he would not take the drug after this shoot for fear the condition would become permenant. Does any one know what drug they could have been using?

Couldn't they have pushed his testicles upwards, then folded his penis under him? Or did no one there know that trick? Or was his genitals just *that* big?

They also, uh, accentuated Ward in a way that made many people uncomfortable -- namely the Catholic Legion of Decency. The producers asked Ward to take pills that would shrink his manhood for a few hours during filming. Quite naturally, Ward was nervous and skeptical.
"They found some quack doctor, and I thought these pills might have some permanent damage to me," he says. "After one day of taking them, I said, 'That's it!' The next day I made sure when I was in front of the camera, I would pull my cape around to cover my (crotch) up."
