I was looking into buying low doses of Estradiol, pills form (1 or 2mg). Which medicine is the safest for long term use? Is it available online without prescription?
What I found so far - the best sites to buy from: inhousepharmacy.vu and alldaychemist.com
Medicine: Estrofem 2mg or Progynova 2 mg. Any feedback about them?
Which Estradiol?

Re: Which Estradiol?
AFAIK, estradiol is a prescription med, at least in US.
Safest appears to be plain ol' estradiol. Ethinyl estradiol and "conjugated" estrogen seem more associated with blood clots.
From the makers' info, it seems that 2-4mg daily are recommended for complete E replacement, and as little as !/2 mg daily may be enough to keep flashes away. Can't find it now but I found that 2mg daily was recommended for best breast development, -oddly not 4 mg.
I believe that Estrofem (Progynova same but different maker) is the commonest brand of estradiol, but always check what is contained in each retail offering to be sure. If you can get a prescription, it costs just $4/month at Walmart. I would guess at this price there shouldn't be much to worry about with inactive fakes.

This may not be the best place to ask about sup with Estradiol. You may get better info at a transgender forum like on reddit.com's many trans subs like transdiy or asktransgender or another hrt subreddit. To me I don't think pills are best I think gel is better may not cause DVT.

Re: Which Estradiol?
I've been on Progynova (2-4 mg) for around two years. Very happy with it. Tried going a while without any hrt, but depression took over. Tried T and really didn't like it. Really love everything about estrogen, and progynova works great. Depression is better, libido is very low but still there for an occasional romp in the hay, and hot flashes are pretty much nonexistent.

Re: Which Estradiol?
Thanks guys, your input was invaluable! I ordered Estrofem 2mg for initial 3 months trial (mainly because it can be used sublingualy, which is supposedly safer and more effective).
I also looked up Pueraria Mirifica as I've never heard of it before, and surprisingly there is a scientificly proven estrogenic effect. As its plant based, it should also be a safer alternative to chemicals based estrogens, so I just bought it also
Made by Oxford Vitality, White Kwao Krua 2500mg Tablets : Pueraria Mirifica. As it arrives tomorrow or the day after, it will have a head start for a few weeks till Estrofem arrives, I'm currious how effective it is.
