Got my balls rolling in Philippines! :)

Post by Harry_07 (imported) »

First of all, I wanted to thank all of you in this great forum! Your advises and tips helped me to find the right surgeon and prepare for an operation.

I had an operation done in June by Dr. Anthony Joson from Renew Medical Surgical Clinic, Philippines. Waited few more months to see how it fully heals and till testosteron leaves my body. Its amazing! Literally one of the best decisions I've made in my life.

Bilateral orchiectomy cost was 35k pesos (674 USD), it didnt require a referral letter. Dr. Joson doesnt need more than two weeks of advance notice. Operation and after-surgery recovery went smoothly and almost painlessly.

Thanks guys!

https://www.facebook.com/drjoson/

Dr. Anthony Joson is skilled surgeon with loads of experience. Pretty much painless surgery and recovery, no swelling. He is as good as advertised. Even aesthetics wise, I cant even see the scar, as if I was born without balls ;)

Congrats, too!

Hope it continues to be all you'd hoped. (As you want to lose the T, it may be good to get advice about starting a very low dose of estradiol or similar to keep the bones and rest of you in good order?)

You gave the price for Dr Joson, and it seems very good value. How much do you suppose a week's hotel stay would add to this? Flights are cheap....

Good News!

Perhaps we could rent a villa and a bunch of us go for a week!

Depends on your budget, hotels in Manila vary from very cheap to luxurious. I.e. you can get a clean private room in 3* hotel for as little as ~$15/night. I personally was staying in a bit better hotel with excellent reviews: https://www.booking.com/hotel/ph/new-ma ... en-gb.html

Transport is cheap (I would recommend Grab, lowest cost and excellent service).

Flights are indeed cheap too, especially if you book ahead. I paid $840 for a two-way ticket from UK to Manila, with insurance and extra services.

Well i was thinking to go to this doctor to but when my girlfriend called him (she is from Philippines) he said he did not do it. Did you call him before arrangement. How long to plan before. The doctor in Russia charged roughly the same price by the way.

Without the details its hard to know why he wouldnt do it for you. For me and others on this very forum it was very straightforward - arrange operation date and time (two weeks before or less, texted through Facebook, I didnt need to call), after arrival 10 mins. chat with Dr. Joson in person, and after that 30 mins. operation. Simple as that.

If you got it done in Russia, then share the name and contact of your doctor, as well as pricing - I'm sure there will be more clients going his way. Its not for everyone to travel to US or Philippines.

@ sprbggr

I checked your others posts and it seems it was age related. You are 50+, correct? Because I'm 40+ and it was no problem.
