Post orchiectomy blood clot
i had a left orchiectomy 40 years ago and I had a right orchiectomy 11 days ago. The removal was done through the groin (inguinal orchiectomy). Post op it still looked and felt like I had a testicle ie a full right semi-scrotum I saw my surgeon and he told me I had a post-op blood clot that had tracked down my right groin into the scrotum. The blood clot will slowly absorb over afew weeks and i will eventually have an empty sac on both sides, which is what i expected post-op

It will absorb. I had it on both sides after my balls were removed. Took about 2 months to go away.

Re: Post orchiectomy blood clot
You're welcome. Mine were rather large, very much felt like very mishapen testicles in my empty sac. If you're are no where near as large as your balls were, you may heal up from it faster.

Whose are bigger? A competition? Who decides the winner?
Condolences to both, with both.
Hope it all feels better soon.
Whatever the misfortune, some posts just have to raise a smile.....

Re: Post orchiectomy blood clot
I had that too, post bilateral, inguinal orchidectomy. Mainly on the left side and it swelled up the size of a baseball. I ended up back under general anes. the doc said that it was because of other, previous surgery and it took a lot to get the testicle up thru the inguinal canal. The brusing was quite spectacular. took along time for that too fade. good result tho

Yes I now have a totally empty sac and absolutely adore being a eunuch. During hot weather my sac tends to get very loose and sticks to my thigh. It's annoying so I may get further surgery to get "the smooth look". I can now understand how women with low sagging inner lips get vaginoplasty!

I had my empty scrotum removed a few years ago and really love it. No more discomfort, it looks so much better and its a new erogenous zone. Just be warned that recovery is not as fast and easy as the orchi.
