Long time no testosterone

Post by Midnightworker (imported) »

I was wondering when you are of testosteron for a long time. Is it not better to start with estradiol instead of direct starting with testosteron? Becouse your body reacts at the estradiol made by the adrenalglands. They also give you gynecomastia.

More how high the dose is. .625 is for post menoposal woman and for transwomen it is 2 to 4 Mg. That is quite a difference. And long time no testosteron wil give you breasts. Small but noticeble.

I thought .625 is Premarin whereas the 1 or 2mg pill are estradiol

Please avoid Premarin. It’s expensive and very unhealthy. You want to use estradiol tablets dissolved order the tongue. 2mg per day would probably be good without much feminization. If your doc will write script, it’s only $4 a month cash at most pharmacies.

I have been taking 1 to 2 mg of estradiol per day for 18 months now (product for postmenopausal women), and it defininitely feminized (loss of body hair on legs, fat redistribution to outer thighs, breast growth (but I had that before anyway), different/richer/more intense spectrum of feelings, to state the most noticeable (all not unwelcome). So you may want to try a lower dosage than that if you want to avoid too much feminization.

Be sure not to take ethinylestradiol, there is a higher risk for blood clots with that (scientific paper available). There is a theory that oral estradiol is not as good for the liver (as it is passed from the gastrointestinal tract directly to the liver and does not distribute throughout the body first) as transdermal estradiol gel. Dissolution below the tonge lets some of the estrogen be uptaken through the oral mucosa instead of being swallowed. The Direct-to-blood way may also reult in a higher estrogen concentration, so the dosage may be reduced.

Premarin is made from the urine of pregnant mares (thus the product name) and consists of a mixture of conjugated estrogens. Those can be worse for the liver and the risk of blood clots, among other disadvantages. And it is also said to be not that nice on the horses upon collection.
