Breast growth?

Post by april973 (imported) »

Members,

Of those who have become castrated by surgery or chemical means or would like to comment.

Did you have any breast growth?

How much growth?

Did you like it?

Are you on estrogen?

Any suggestions for those who would like to have growth?

Hey @april973,

Gynecomastia (breast development in men) is a common occurrence in men who've been castrated (physically or chemically). If a man is physically castrated and goes on T replacement, it shouldn't be a problem.

If a man is chemically castrated it's likely to occur.

Adding estrogen to the mix is not a guarantee that that gynecomastia will happen, but it ups the odds.

If you want breast development, then estrogen is pretty sure to give you what you want.

I know that lots of members on here purchase their androgen blockers and estrogen from the internet. But, I'm firmly in the camp that believes using a doctor (preferably and endocrinologist).

There are so many things that should be tested along the way. Live function, blood clotting, cancer checks (breast cancer would become an issue), thyroid checks, prolactin levels (which control not only the development of breast milk, but other bodily functions), heart check ups (hormones can lead to heart valve probelms - although this is more common in the abuse of male hormones), kidney function.

It doesn't do you a great deal of good to achieve your goals of castration and perhaps breast development if your liver is harmed along the way. The liver is not one of those "extra organs" that doctors remove and tell you that you can live without it (like tonsils, the appendix, the gallbladder, the prostate, the spleen). The liver is equally important to the heart.

Even if you do get your hormones from the internet, it's best to be honest with at least your primary care doctor and let them run some blood work every few months.

This is a horror story actually. In 1961 this 19 year old man (the age of majority was 21 back then) was castrated at The University of California Medical Center (UCLA) at his parents request. The goal was to "cure" him of his homosexuality. Today, that would be considered barbaric. Back then, the doctors declared it a great success. Here is a link (my virus checker says the link to this sub reddit is safe) that shows him before castration and at 18 months after his "treatment" https://www.reddit.com/r/castration/com ... s_in_1961/

It's rather amazing to see how his body changed from lack of testosterone. He gained weight, his fat distributed to a more female distribution, breast development started and his pubic hair thinned out quite a bit. Also, in the before picture he has half an erection as evidence from his glans peaking out from his foreskin - apparently he found something erotic about being photographed nude pre-castration. The after picture shows his glans 100% covered by the foreskin with no signs of even a partial erection.

Hope that helped.

I've been on 100mg Androcur for about 4 months now. No breast development, but that's because I'm also taking 60mg of Raloxifene daily too

I got gynecomastia after damaged balls.

I hated it ! Nipples doubled in width, turned redder in color, hurt like a bruise about 1 inch deep under both nipples. Had to get mammograms to make sure it wasn t male breast cancer. Emasculating experience going to mammogram clinic full of women acting like I was a pervert just for walking into the clinic and them not knowing men can get breast cancer.

No breast mass thank God. But nipples stayed red and twice as wide forever after.

Only good thing was my nipples are now intensely pleasurable to stimulation and send pleasure impluses straight to my balls now, like a direct wire between them now during sex. Never used to get much out of nipple play in the past. Now its a major source of pleasure to me. Rough play feels so intense on my nips now, its like 2 small dick heads on my pecs to play with !

Too much testosterone can cause gynomastia as well.

Excess testosterone binds to sex hormone binding globulin, which then goes through the aromatase process, stimulating the production of estrogen.

Gym rats who think more is better with their steroids end up growing breasts and develop what they call 'roid gut' (fat around the middle).

I was already on testosterone replacement therapy when I was castrated.

Within a couple of months after my castration I began accumulating fat around my waist and hips, had painful nipples and began developing breast tissue.

The average man produces 5-10mg. of testosterone each day.

I had been injecting 100mg. of testosterone cypoinate every 14 days. I cut the dose in half and inject every ten days. This keeps my testosterone level fairly constant so I don't end up with days at the end of each cycle moody with no energy.

It's been about three weeks and the weight I gained is quickly coming back off.

I told my doctor that I'm about to turn 60, and if I still had balls, I'd naturally be producing toward the low end of normal. 50mg. every ten days should put me there. She agreed and ordered repeat free and bound testosterone counts and wants to repeat in three months to see how I'm doing.

I'm feeling a lot more 'chill' on the lower dose.

I was castrated Aug 2015, no HRT for 18 months, 1 year on T, now 11 weeks on E. I have no breast growth at all but have developed very pointy nipples. To be more comfortable I have recently taken to wearing nipple guards. Justine x

Though not castrated I can not produce testosterone.

Up until a couple of weeks ago I have not had any testosterone injections this year (7 months without) There was a noticeable amount of fat re distribution around my chest and thighs but noting severe.

I did not mind this at all but whether this is part of the natural weight gain folks experience with low or no T I don't know.

2.5 years no T I had a fair amount of breast growth and even some since being on T for the last 2.5 years. They are fairly heavy and can be annoying if jogging or riding my horse and they start bouncing. It is not fat but breast tissue and nipples are some more prominent and way more sensitive.

I'm not castrated, but I have gynecomastia (mainly on the left). Scans ruled out cancer and I persuaded my GP to put me on tamoxifen for 3 months, but this has had no effect in reducing my 'bust'. What started out as a small localised mass under my left nipple has now turned into a pubescent sized breast, though most of the growth is in my armpit, so its not too noticeable. The only cause I can ascribe it to is medications. I've been taking omeprazole since the dawn of time and been on statins for over 10 years. My understanding is that the statins have an incidental effect on all hormones, not just the ones controlling cholesterol, so this may screw up the way my bod uses its testosterone, or maybe even promotes the production of estrogen. Who knows? It's a case of YMMV...
