New Guy Here

Post by GordonGG (imported) »

Hi, I'm Gordon

I've been reading this forum for a few days, and the web in general about T and its effects as well as castration and its effects. I'm looking forward to getting on this "ride".

I just picked up my prescription for Spiro this afternoon and will be taking my first dose this evening. If chemical castration suits me (and I think it will) I look forward to losing the Evil Twins and their abode sometime in the future.

I want to thank everyone who contributes to this forum so that others like myself can learn about the process.

A question. How long should I plan on taking the chemical castration ride before I decide for the surgical one?

Welcome. :)

the Full effect of castration with spiro is longer maybe six months and it´s needed larger dosages up to 200-400mg per day as is a diuretic with weak antiandrogenic effect. Depending on your body maybe you will need adjustments in dosages.

At least 6 months, preferably a year. I went on for 6 months, then decided to see what it was like going back to normal. That convinced me that I preferred being on Spiro so I went back on for about a year whilst I read and re read the Calcium chloride thread on here. The rest as they say is history as are my balls.

Hey Gordon,

First, welcome.

All of your feelings are valid and I'm glad that you've decided to take a test drive on chemical castration before removing "the evil twins".

You'll find every sort of reason for being on this board. Some are trans women, some are looking to rid themselves of sexual thoughts and live life without thinking of sex every 30 seconds, some would like to keep their sex lives yet have their "junk" removed as it's never seemed like it belonged there, others don't have issue with their evil twins belonging there they just want the body modification.

I have found this community to be warm and welcoming to serious participants. Given the topics being discussed here, there is little tolerance for those just looking for pictures or perhaps self harm fantasy.

Your adventure is just beginning and I'm looking forward to hearing how you progress.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome, it is surely appreciated. Today is the first day on Spiro at 50 mg 2x day. Needless to say I'm not noticing anything yet. Weekly the dose will go up by 50 mg, up to 100 mg 2x day. For now that is the plan, may increase dosage beyond that my doctor says. Wait and see.

I'm in my 60's and have been have been battling the sex drive for most of my life. I'm tired of it, time to say bye bye.

BTW, I'm not taking any E right now and really don't plan on it. Personally I wouldn't mind some breasts, but my wife won't hear of it. I've always been a non "he man" type. I'm not into any kind of sports what-so-ever! I've always enjoyed clothing shopping with the wife and girl friends before that. They have such an array of clothing to choose from, lucky girls. I definitely have a feminine bent. I like my body hair free. I shave the legs and pits, and am having electrolysis on my chest, stomach and back. I'm not a very hairy person anyway. So there wasn't much there to begin with.

I've read about the need for some kind of hormone for the osteoporosis problem, either T or E. But then I read somewhere that it's mostly for younger people. In other words if you're over 60 you don't need to worry about it. Is this right?
