Now I'm getting scared of Spiro

I just read these articles about Spironolactone and I'm worried.

The author is not a medical professional but does talk about having experience personally and with helping others. I know it is just one persons take on things. But it is very convincing. She says that spiro doesn’t work well in reducing testosterone, and gives some evidence for that. The physiological and psychological implications of taking Spiro are daunting.

I'm wishing I can find a doctor to just get the surgery rather than deal with all of that.

Any help with that? Anyone know of a doctor in the Pacific Northwest (WA, ID, OR) that will perform the surgery without letters?

Well, spironolactone is not antiandrogen. It is diuretic, with weak antiandrogen function. If my memory serves me right. I may be wrong. (that is without reading the links)

But it is what is used as antiandrogen in the US!
