Its not really something that should be messed about with as hormonal balance isn't an exact science. How he feels, and what bloodwork shows will go a long way to making him feel right.
My experience with testosterone supplement has been that its far from an exact science and it may take months of trial and error to get to the point that is right for a person, whatever it is. My level initially was all over the place, from 140 to 1150. The higher the level, the more energy, muscle mass, weight control and ability to have sex daily. Im regularly now around 600-800. Ive found that switching to weekly shots, rather than using gel daily, helps me to reduce the wide fluctuations because it is more messurable since it doesnt rely on absorption through the skin. Also, with the gel one has to be careful not to get it on ones female partner.
Id be interested in hearing from others about their experiences using gel and/or shots, the levels that they have regularly been able to achieve and if they are pleased with the results, health wise.
