I'm a crossdresser, kind of...

Post by Lickinem (imported) »

Any one else here like to crossdress?

I’m not a rough and tough burly guy. I don’t care for sports of any kind. I like the softer sides of things. You could say the more feminine things. I love to go shopping with the wife (and past girlfriends) so that I could look at and feel all the different kinds of clothing that they got to choose from. I wanted to wear them too. So, I took to crossdressing. I love the feel of pantyhose on freshly shaven legs. I often go out in public dressing in hose and a skirt with either a man shirt or a woman’s top. Some times with some low-heeled women’s shoes or lighter men’s shoes. I don’t wear makeup and don’t wear a wig. Oh, and I have a manicure with polish once in a while too. I’m 6’ and 250 pounds so I’m not petite. Sure, I’ve gotten some looks from strangers, but I DON’T CARE! This is who I am, and how I want to dress sometimes.

I have gone the whole crossdressed thing a few times, with makeup and wig. It’s fun, but I don’t “pass” at all.

I also abhor body hair. For the past 4 years I’ve been going and getting hair electrolysis off and on. Mainly started with my hairy ears and then started my torso and back. I’m not the hairiest guy by a long short but now my chest and most of my stomach area are hair free and I love it. I also shave my legs, groin, pits and arms.

I’ve had recurring fantasies about being with another crossdresser for sex. But he would have to be feminine presenting like me.

All that being said, you could say that I’m more feminine than masculine. I’ve thought numerous times through my life that I should have been born a woman. However, to transition now isn’t going to happen. I would never look like a woman, and certainly never pass as one. And I don't want to lose my wife, so I’ll just keep presenting as a feminine man.

One of my question is, would castration cause me to change any of these behaviors? Will I still want to and like to crossdress?

I don’t think it would change you away from cross dressing and if you did no T you would likely as I did get a bit more feminine figure but watch out for weight gain over 2.5 years no T I gained around 30 pounds and have lost 20 plus of it.

Lickinem, I'm much like you. At this point in life transitioning is out of the question. I have often thought that maybe castration would be a way to become closer to my feminine gender.

It was once said by Mark Twain that clothing does not make the man. "I'm quoting another here in the forums mind you." Clothing IS THE MAN!

Ok, I get that on so many levels. I've not really ever placed much importance on clothing other than the utility of protecting the body. Whether that protection be from the ravages of the weather and atmosphere we live in or protecting the body from damage perpetrated by others. As often the case is that what others may see as improperly clothed folks will get the effects of others whether it is a physical beating or sexual abuse. In any event, clothing is intended to protect us from other things. During my life I've spent many MANY years away from other humans in hot weather so simply wore no clothing. I had more than a few sun burns as a result but I also did not suffer from heat stroke etc. When I need to protect my legs I wear jeans. When I go swimming in public society dictates the clothing I wear. There was a time when a swimming trunk met the requirements of society. Now many years of using too many hormones society demands that I cover my chest as well so have moved on to womens swimming suits or bikini in order to satisfy society. I often simply wear cutoff jeans and tank top along with a pair of sandals to protect my feet. And at times need protection from the cold. When traveling I find that a simple skirt is extremely utilitarian to pull off the highway and just squat to relieve my bladder. If a car happens by at the moment I'm not baring my ass for all to gawk and complain over in the case of some countries. To the point, some folks wear clothing to help protect their emotional or psychological health. To my way of thinking if Lickinem or Nidaho Rachel end up happy and healthier in their mind and suffer no harm from what they wear that is exactly what they should wear to clothe themselves whenever they feel like it. I clothe myself to protect my body and self from harm. It's as simple as that. Clothes do not make me feel good or bad personally but protect my body from the elements whether they be weather, plant or animal, two legged or four. So if somebody wishes to call this non female human a cross-dresser, then call away. People give too many names for too many things.
