Bella, Thank you for posting In the Eyes of the Lord so quickly. I'm gratified to see that it's already garnering a few stars. The story takes place in the same "Universe" or more accurately the same Magazine (Today's Young Eunuch) as Grand Slam but is a much darker story. That brings up an intriguingly question. If such a periodical actually existed in real life what would it be like? I'm guessing that some articles would be targeted for younger readers (8 to 11) and some for older kids (12 to 16). I'm also guessing that some features would be humor,:nutsycuck others serious, still others would be "boy's" adventure stories and some sort of boarder line horror. I guess we'll never know.

Great story, but like all you stories never show the act of nullification. You usually drop it before or start it after. I guess the editor of "Today's Young Eunuch" would never let public something that could upset the readers who are still intact. I hope to read soon at least some advise or suggestions for the parents about what to do with "what remains", with a list of the all option on the table.

I think that's a good observation. As a boy what intrigued me wasn't so much the medical procedure as the psychological upheaval any "boy" would surely undergo following his castration. Also if TYE existed IRL I think the editors would gloss over the gruesome details in favor of stories about "boys" retaining or reinventing their masculinity post nullification. An intact boy is simply a male. A castrated boy must chose to be male.

There's one last thing I'd like to say about this. I feel that there are a number of writers on EA who do a much better job than I in describing the actual act of castration and nullification. Why should I try to compete in an area where I know others are stronger?
