You can't.

It's been the policy of the Archive for many years now, that once stories are submitted, they will not be removed.

I am afraid once something is on the net it is almost impossible to remove it entirely anyway and even if you think you have removed it you can find it pops up again. People download stuff and repost it to forums or blogs wherever they feel appropriate. So the issue is not just about the archive it is just the way the net is. I have lots of stories on my hard drive and although I do not post them I did get these from all over and in free circulation, If I chose to put them on a site as ANON others would download them even if they were up for a short time.... and so it goes. I guess it maybe that (although Paolo didn't state it) the rule is there to protect the archive and its keepers from responsibility of removing stories from the net or this site for ever since they clearly cannot guarantee to do that.

Even removing it from EA would help

In all of this, why do you wish the files to be removed? Not that there is a problem with the desire, I'm simply curious.

If you do not use the name Origen22 elsewhere for your "real life" purposes, why would it matter if your stories stay up? Unlike photos and videos and sound where a persons real identity could theoretically be identified, text isn't really identifying unless you explicitly use your real name, at least for the type of thing on EA. There is a gatekeeper between your submission and it being posted (IE it is moderated, reviewed, then taken from your text file/Word file THEN posted), so no worries for your real identity.

Face it, once it's posted online, it's out there. Granted, it's not on the guidelines now, but for many years, the old submissions system had a warning on it that stories would not be deleted once posted. Odds are, if you search the name of the story, you'll find that it's out there on the 'net in more places than just here.
