I found this forum through reddit and it seems a lot of wonderful people around here, and I could really use an advice.
In short about me: Im highly hypersexual male (40) from EU. Went to several specialists over the years and after many tests (psychological and physical) we finally could pinpoint my issue testosteron was creating havoc in my system. As soon as I underwent antiandrogen therapy, I had the best months of my life, with full control over myself! Finally!
One issue though, medicine works well short term, month or two later I have to either double the dose or change the prescription, after few years we run out of antiandrogens to try. Therefore I reached the only logical conclusion bilateral orchiectomy as a permanent solution. However, no doctor or psychologist I talked with in my country would sign up for an operation, as much as they sympathize with my problem, as Im not SRS and dont have cancer.
The last drop was my father got diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer, and as its common cancer among my close relative, it was explained to me Im at high risk as well. Removing the testicles very significantly reduces my risk of getting prostate cancer too.
Could someone kindly refer to a doctor who could do a bilateral orchiectomy without the need of referral letter? So far after googling and reading these forums, I could find two names: Dr. Thep from Thailand (I found out he is not really a doctor, but cheap and with lots of experience) and Medigo/Renew Medical Surgical Clinic in Philippines. The latter seems to be a better choice as Im uneasy about getting an operation from Dr Thep, only as a last resort. I will probably contact Renew Medical Surgical, if my age (40) is not an issue to them.
What other reasonable choices are out there? I really want to get the balls rolling (preferably mine
)
