Loss of pubic hair

Hi, I' m a 25 year old eunuch from Santa Barbara. At the time of writing

I've been neuter for 2 1/2 years. I had a medical castration as a consequence

of having testicular torsion. I was unable to get a corrective operation in time

and had to be cut. During the next 18 months I was unable to get an

erection and lost most of my body hair, I felt and looked de-sexed. A year

ago I started TRT and got my physical life back. I'm now as sexually active as I was before I

was cut although in a slightly different way. I also got back good muscle tone.

One thing though embarasses me, I don't have any pubic hair. I used to have

a thick blond bush, now there's nothing down there. I thought that after a year

on TRT it would grow back. I'd really appreciate it if anyone had any

information.

Been there and done that. After I lost the nuts to necessary surgery, I too lost the hair. T replacement does many things for me, including getting things working again, but hair? not so much!

Not that it is my business to suggest, but my empress decided that she liked it and demanded that I keep any beginings there shaved.

Hi Daifu-Orchid, Thanks for your response, looks like I'll

likely have to live with the hairless crotch look.

As a bi-sexual I don't have your fortunate position however I've

been surprised how many, both male and female are turned on

by castrated guys. Having no pubic hair makes it difficult to disguise

that you are nutless, I guess I should get over the embarassment.

The other thing for me is that I was quite big before I was cut so

now my empty sac is low and dangly. I assume it will shrink over

time but I've had it suggested more than once I should have it

removed. Did you keep yours or go for the smooth look.

You may want to have your T levels checked. Many lbs don’t flag T asbeing low until it gets below 200 but for your age, 700+ is normal. You may need more T to grow hair because you don’t have enough T to convert enough to DHT.

Hi JessicaH, thanks for the information. Because my libido

is so strong now I didn't think about T levels. It would likely

explain other changes too. Before I was castrated I was on

the male side of androgynous, now I'm definitely on the female

side. I think the shock of castration, no sex then TRT changed

the way I feel about things. I'm strongly attracted to M/F

transgenger girls now, I think it was probably latent but being

the person I am now I'm really happy to express it.

Hi Gay2girl, I have unfortunately very limited experience of

tgirls. It was my pleasure to meet one at the Endocrine

Clinic that I attend in LA. Called Gloria, she is athletic and

very feminine at the same time. We spent a weekend

together and hope to meet again. She has a very smooth

body, a functioning penis but very small testicles. She is

way more experienced than me and taught me how to give

and receive oral sex for maximum pleasure to both parties.

She is preparing for castration later this year; testicles and

scrotum to be removed but nothing further than that.

I'm a little confused by how you were treated. First, testicular torsion normally happens in only one testicle.

Why did the removal of the torqued testicle leave you without the other? There should not have been any reason to remove both - only the injured testicle.

In most men, testicular torsion is caused by an injury. In some men it's an inherited condition where the testicles are free to swing inside the scrotum and thus can become twisted (often, twisting and untwisting on their own - which requires surgery to attach them to inside of the scrotum to prevent them from becoming permanently torqued).

Assuming you received the correct treatment (ie, removal of both testicles), why didn't they start you on hormones right away? Any pre-med student can tell you that a 22 year old male who's had both testicles removed because of testicular torsion is going to require testosterone replacement therapy. To let you go 18 months before starting HRT seems like malpractice. The rub on gel (like androgel) is rather expensive. But, the injections are very affordable (about $30 to $40 a month).

Why remove both testicles and after doing so, why didn't they start HRT sooner? Was it even offered?

Hi TopManFL, the torsion occurred abroad and in a remote location. I'd fallen down a slope while

climbing and felt something tear in my groin. The pain was excrutiating, it then took me 12 hours

to get to hospital, by the time I got there my balls were numb. The clinician attempted a corrective operation to untwist the cords but said it had been too late and had castrated me. It didn't occur to me

that I might have kept one testicle. Whatever the reason I returned home a eunuch.

The delay in starting TRT was down to me, I was so embarassed at becoming a eunuch that I didn't

look for medical help for 18 months. Looking back I should have gone earlier but I've come to terms

with castration now and have started a new life, I think a more interesting one.
