I was wondering how many people shave what? What is your orientation?

I was one of those boys who was so eager to grow lots of body hair all over and to the maximum amounts and be like the older teens and men that I admired for their masculinity and hairiness. I love the masculinity of male hairiness so much that I don t shave anything but parts of my face. The most I do is a minimum trim by hand if hair gets tangled or hangs out of my shirts too long to look human lol .

One of my buddies was offered a chest shave by some women at work. He said,

No way ! I waited for years to grow my hairy chest ! I love my hairy chest and want to keep it !

I m amazed at all the men, especially the youngest guys, who keep their scrotums shaved bald and shave their chests. They must think women prefer it to want it for their bodies. But the younger guys barely grew their first puberty body hair and then shave it off ! Not even being hairy long enough to get used to enjoying it.

Plus male body and groin hair prevents skin on skin rubbing during sex that would chafe and cause rashes on both lovers skin from long sessions of love making.

Safe sex is at risk if either partner has sharp hair stubble puncturing condoms or causing beard burn and scratches on the skin. Who wants to have to take the time out in foreplay to shave before every sex act and even then he d risk razor nicks allowing easier skin disease transmission after every fresh shave.

One of my friends nicked a vein in his relaxed and low hanging scrotum so bad by shaving his balls that he almost needed stitches to stop the bleeding. He never tried shaving his balls after that.

I never likes my pubes. The reason of that, was I shaved since I was 16. But in between I grew some hair. When I was in military in the 90th it was not common beeing shaved. But I have a very strong hair growth, so I shaved my dick and my balls and kept the rest very short. But in fact I like to have it bald in all parts expect my head, but even there I prefer a short cut.

I like to keep the hair off my dick and usually shave my empty sack. My face I usually keep shaved excep mustache which I have kept since about 19. I trim my pubes just enough to keep from being too long. Leave the rest of my body hairy except trimming so doesn’t hang out of the neck of my T shirt. Used to keep a beard till it became mostly grey instead of red.

I have always disliked body hair. I kept my body shaved for years until I finally abut ten years ago had my body hair laser removed. I have had no complaints from any of my sex pardoners. Also I am a member of a nude male group that gathers for nude parties once a month and with over 100 members there is not a pubic hair to be found.

Long ago, my first wife had more hair on her chest than I had on mine. Later on I had more body hair than I really wanted. Now I have hair on my face but no hair on my crotch. --FLO--

This discussion makes me think of the story named " Shave" in the fiction archives. It follows into the real underlying goals and desires of a lot of male body shaving. Hot story too !

That many nudists shave ? I must be going to the wild man nudist places since most guys are hairy in the nudist places I go. Its mostly married men and young guys with girlfriends that shave at those nudist places.

us gays are known to shave although i just trim, it makes my junk feel bigger to myself, no one else complains

I m guessing the tops like to stay hairy and the bottom men like to be shaved by the tops or shave themselves to be less animal like than the tops. Seems to be the case with beards and mustaches that you can see in public in large groups of gay men. The tops usually grow more facial hair than bottom men as a group. And tops are more likely to show off body hair too.

But there are always exceptions to every generalization.
