First time posting. I'm looking to chemically castrate myself. I want to squash my sex drive flat.

I have a couple of meds on the way from In House Pharmacy: some Depo-Provera shots, and bottle of Androcur 50mg. The first one will arrive a week before the second one. My question is, if I take a Depo-Provera shot, will it kick-start the anti-testosterone process without having a harmful interaction with the Androcur? (Which I will start taking immediately, at 100mg a day.) Or should I just wait and take Androcur?

I would recommend only one at a time. If you start the Androcur first, starting with a 100 mg is a good idea for the first two weeks. Take it twice a day, 50 mg each time. and reduce to 50 mg daily I think you will get the desired results suppressing your sex drive. After two weeks your interest in arousal will be impaired.

I would also recommend only taking one anti androgen at a time. If you have any bad side effects whilst taking both you won’t know which one is causing the problem, and if you don’t get along with one of them you then have the other as backup.

I started taking 50mg Androcur a day with 20mg Tamoxifen a day (to prevent gynecomastia) a little less than three weeks ago, and I can report that my libido has been nuked entirely.

Thanks, good info. Are you able to get an erection at all, even if you try really hard?

To be honest I have no idea, as I now have absolutely no desire to get an erection!

It hasn’t raised its ugly head in about ten days to a fortnight now (I can’t even remember exactly which day it last said hello, without going back and reading my own blog!), and I have about as much interest in rubbing it as I do rubbing my nose.

The last time I tried looking at porn I found it less stimulating than looking at a gardening catalogue..!

From my experience, after 2 weeks on Androcur, erections were difficult to obtain, weaker than before, and less desirable than I had been accustomed to. I was able to have a weak ejaculation and orgasm. Ejaculate was very watery and clear. After another week or two, I could not get an erection, but I did not care.

Buy some anti androgens online, take them, & bingo!

Okay seriously, I’d start by spending time doing some research. There are loads of threads on this forum about the various different anti androgens available, where people bought them, how effective they are, side effects, etc. etc.

(A good start would be to type ‘androcur’ in the search box - you’ll find loads)

I personally purchased Androcur 50mg and Tamoxifen 20mg from alldaychemist, and I’m taking one of each pill a day. This has proved to be very effective for me, but everyone is different so you may find that a different product or dosage is right for you.

I don’t know anything about the surgical side of things yet, but you will find lots of information on the forum.
