The US Veterans Administration did a study that concluded that surgical castration was faster, easier to do, and cheaper over a life time than chemical castration methods that had to be maintained to supress testicular function and testosterone production.

A one time chemical castration usually kills the testicles just as permanently as surgery but it leaves dead testis in the scrotum that shrink small in size and could be a problem over time.

I completely agree that all men should be the ones to decide their preferences for their own bodies and should be fully informed of the pros and cons of each option that is available to them.

And I agree foreskins should be left on infants to let men decide at age 18 which surgeries they want or don t want on their own penis. That fact that its common for males to choose to remain uncircumcised as men in cultures that don t do infant circumcisions shows that most grown men do prefer to keep their foreskins and their lovers seem to prefer their retained foreskins too.

You are right how many of the same drs seem shocked or embarrassed to discuss medically necessary surgical castration but not embarrassed to encourage non medically necessary infant routine MALE circumcisions.

Talk to the same drs about any form of female circumcisions and most would reject any female routine circumcision as being child abuse and anti female.

Even though the male foreskin and the female clit are both loaded with intense pleasure receptor cells to increase sexual pleasures and intensity for their owners.
