Effect of Androcur every other day

Does anyone know if taking an Androcur tablet every other day just lower T, or is it an all or nothing? Cant find anything information other than guys taking it daily.

It depends on the number of MG taken. Somewhere in the medical literature is the half life cycle of Androcur. It seems to be better taken in level doses daily such as 50 MG twice a day which can generally be reduced to 50 MG per day. As with any medication going to a high dosage one day and skipping the next day leads to ineffective results when trying to lower testosterone levels.

It is about Androcur serum level half-life. It is approx 43h +-13h. Depending dosage, body weight and metabolism. It is better to keep levels as steady as possibly. Thus taking smaller doses more frequently is better than seldom taking huge loads of medication. So, take only half tablet a day, instead one tablet over a day.

Hi. Thanks. I have 50mg tablets. Just wondering if side effects are strong i can reduce to 50mg every other day to still reduce my T. OK, thanks, that makes sense. Halfing a tablet. Will have to take a look at them to see how easy that will be. I am 5' 10" ,150lbs with pretty high metabolism.

First I am no doctor. But something I do know. Try to search scientific data on Androcur on sites like pubmed etc.

It is difficult to predict. As you see metabolism varies greatly and people react to Androcur differently. It takes around a week to feel first effects, as Androcur needs time to move into Testosterone receptors, or it needs time for Testosterone to leave receptors, until it can take place there. Usually people don't want to just reduce their sex drive, they want to kill it. Thats why they first take heavy doses like 100-200mg per day for few weeks, until all Testosterone is replaced by Androcur in receptors, and then they just maintain that situation with much lower level, to keep Testosterone out. Usually 50mg is enough. I don't know if it is possible to partially eliminate Testosterone from T receptors. It might be, but it is unknown how easy it is to maintain the right balance, as delay in feeling effects is in weeks. You could try. It will take time to find a satisfactory balance. May be.
