How long does it take testosterone to dive back down?

I'm trying to keep myself from doing something stupid (ball destruction).

How long does it take testosterone levels to go back down after returning to regular medication regimens that had your testosterone under control in the past? It's been a long time since I had any changes in my medications.

I had to take half my regular dose of estrogen for a while, which made my testosterone spike up to 81ng/dL. I've been back on my regular estrogen (and cyproterone) dose for a week now, and I spent about a month on the decreased estrogen dose.

It's normal to still be having some testosterone effects a week into resumed proper treatment, right? The symptoms of the testosterone are driving me absolutely crazy, both due to gender dysphoria and PTSD. I want to destroy my balls so badly. I hate having these testosterone factories attached to me. How long will I have to endure this before the meds bring my levels back down to rock-bottom?

I believe that the half life of Testosterone in the body is about 4 days, ie it will halve in concentration every 4 days.T affects other parts of the endocrine system and I dont know how long that takes to respond.

In my case I normally run on 5mg day of T by gell. When I stop using it completely it takes me about a week to feel free of the T effect. It takes about 2 weeks for the hot flashes to start again. When I start again it takes about 5 days to get rid of the hot flashes and about 2 weeks to start night erections again.

Going to update. I feel about back to normal at this point. Since starting this thread I've switched to estradiol cypionate injections, and at this point my testosterone seems very stomped down. I've done two injections so far, at a dose of 2.5mg/week subcutaneously.

My libido is back to being nonexistent, which is really relieving.
