lactation

Post by annieseunuch (imported) »

I am wondering if anyone has had any success in using frequent breast pumping to start lactation?

If so, are there any medications, etc. which help the process?

My dream is to become a wet nurse

First you need to have breasts, Males do not have breasts.

To grow breasts Estrogen is required. And it will take 6 months to a year to have developed breasts.

Once your breasts are developed then frequent breast pumping and stopping Estrogen may cause lactation.

I don’t know about being able to lactate, but a friend once gave me the most peculiar cigarette and I’d swear that I was able to levitate…

For someone whose profile says they are 70 years old, you're showing an incredible ignorance about the human body.

Men have breasts, they can even get breast cancer.

Now are they they fatty tissue "fun bags" women carry around? No, but men DO have breasts. We also have all the milk glands and ducts women do, ours are just dormant due to our hormonal make-up.

I remember a news story years ago where a man and wife and baby were in an accident and the mother was killed and the guy and baby survived a couple of weeks on dog food that had been purchased and snow. He let the baby suckle to comfort it and after a bit he started lactating. Our bodies can be amazing!
