First week on Androcur

I have been on Androcur for a week now.

And I’ve started to notice I get less frequent spontaneous erections.

Unfortunately the side effects I’m experiencing, force me to stop taking it.

-I have a sore/ scratchy thoat ( i can live with that if it Wasn’t for the other side effect)

-Shortness of breath, one flight of stairs and I’m gasping for air.

It seems I’m very sensitive when it comes to that side effect.

I’m quitting Androcur immediately!

I may give Depo-Provera a try when I feel better.

So sorry to hear that it didn’t work out for you, but thank you for posting and letting us know. It just goes to show that everybody's body is different and it’s very difficult to predict the side effects.

What dosage of Androcur did you try.

Some people start slowly at 50 Mg a day others do 100 MG a day for two weeks and reduce it to 50 Mg.

Thats only the effects of low T.

Also on me it's happen if I go down, but could be, it would better, after the body has had time to regulate...

I took 2x50mg a day for a week.

I feel a lot better now i’ve stopped taking Androcur. It took three days before my breating got better.

Very glad to hear that you’re feeling better. Just goes to show how bad the side effects can be.

I’ve been advised by a doctor to start at 50mg a day and only go up to 100mg if it’s not working, then come back down again when it’s having the desired effect, and to stop immediately if I have a bad reaction.
