Whats the Tamoxifen for?

Tamoxifen is an anti-oestrogen, so prevents oestrogen from becoming dominant once the testosterone’s gone, and apparently can help alleviate some of the other effects of low testosterone, namely, gaining weight, fatigue, etc…

At least that’s what I’ve learnt from other peoples posts.

Yes, will be ordering it from Allday. It’s quite cheap too - $30.24 for 90 tablets. If you search Tamoxifen on here you’ll find there’s quite a lot of information. It seems to go quite nicely with Androcur, and I gather is prescribed to some cancer patients to stop gynaecomastia (effective for 90% of patients apparently). I think that a lot of people only start taking it if they have a problem, so no need to hold back on the Androcur, and there probably is a lot to be said for taking the minimum amount of medication necessary.

As I’ve always had quite an impressive set of ‘man boobs’, even when I was a skinny teenager, I suspect that I’m quite susceptible to gynaecomastia, which is why I’ll be taking it from the start. I guess that if I’d been able to transition MtF young, that by the time I was ‘fully developed’ I’d have been able to stop traffic..! Oh well, one can daydream!

lol. My first sign of puberty was gynaecomastia! I was at an all boys boarding school in the midlands of UK. There were 6 or so day girls there and i had breast lumps just like them, except boys who were interested got to shower with me lol. I was rather popular with interested boys, but made for a difficult life at the time. I will order it and wait to start the Androcur tilli get it. Thanks for the advise and info.

No worries. But please do your own research, as I’m in no position to give any advice yet!

That said, if you’re anxious to get started I don’t think it’ll make any difference starting Tamoxifen a little after the Androcur (he says - promptly giving advice!!).

My GP obviously has to advise against self medicating, but she understands why I

ve told her that I will keep her fully informed of anything that I’m planning to take. Which I think is especially important as I’m on other medication for high blood pressure.

I have been on Androcur and Tamoxifen for several years, and you might have seen my prior identity HKEUNUCH, using this combination. All that time, I have been taking high blood pressure, cholesterol, and uric acid medications as well. I just had my cardiologist follow my liver AND kidney functions regularly. With the combination, I was able to get the same castration effects with significantly lower doses than with Androcur alone. As such, load on liver and kidney are much better. Best of luck.

Thank you. Your posts have proved to be most useful to me, and my GP admitted that she was somewhat surprised at my knowledge of the correct dosages to take and potential side effects.

Androcur and Tamoxifen taken in combination would seem to be a very efficient way of achieving the desired effects of total castration with the lowest possible dosages and minimal stress to internal organs.

I will be having very regular blood tests to ensure that everything is going smoothly and that my liver and kidneys aren’t being damaged.

Re: About my desire for castration

Yesterday I was at this general briefing meeting. I was surprised by the number of people. The huge auditorium was almost completely full. It was very good that I went. A psychotherapist spoke so warmly, so the coldness made by my last therapist melted away. I look with optimism forward to my meeting with the doctor and nurse at March 8.

I'm telling more people about my contact and reason with the clinic. I use as first sentence simply: "My balls have to be cut off." That makes everyting clear in one simple line and I get surprised enthusiastic reactions, which surprises me at my turn.

I knew I had to go step by step and I believed there were no legal steps to make. We owe a lot to Jesus for what he international did for us the wannebe eunuchs.

I suppose that we'll talk at the meeting of March 8th about a lot of things, wishes, possibilities, the fear to be seen as insane. BTW I was 10 months on the list.
