POW's by Cilla

Ah,

Just a note...occasionally an author comes up with a tale that is just, well mind-bending. This one was one of those. Once, I tried something similar, in the AZ story "The Cutting Festival" but I think this idea was even wilder. Yeah...wow.

Anyway, I liked it, the novel "way" it was done, the presentation, and the fantasy of getting trained and then "HAVING" to do it day and night, with long lines of prisoner's waiting for their turn. It certainly wasnt the usual nut-cutting saga, and so in that way it was a refreshing read.

Just wanted to take the time to give my 2 cents worth. Lots of stories lately, and not many comments.

A neat viewpoint, well expressed.

I particularly liked the way the girl was proud of her contribution to the war effort.

Any hope for a follow up? Perhaps the castrations proved so good at controlling population pressures that other countries make it optional in their countries. Our hero could become an international Population Controller? Perhaps her husband was one og the first to plead with her to do him? Then the couple go international?

Teems with quiet fun!
