Ah, thanks for the thoughtful post. You are now a real person to me and not one of those one or two post flash in the pans.
No response tells you something about women as a group. And I do not believe there are none that you cannot talk to about castration - but
out of the blue. I remember a fe

ew when I lived in Knoxville years ago and some thru the years, but they were always women that I had some kind of a relationship with-friends, group memberships, some kind of living breathing relationship. The response might vary from a wicked grin to saying that they could watch one but probably could not do the actual cutting (now that is an invite for further discussion if I every heard one). Mind you, they were scattered among a bunch that were turned off by it and thought I was a weirdo. But that is life. Use your real life relationships to find the ones you want to know. Be very open with your wife. Maybe she has friends. There maybe a BDSM group in Knoxville. Not BDSM, but I remember the Society for Creative Anachronism (reliving medeivel life and guess what was more prominently a part of life at that time?) who had great parties and definitely got out on thin ice during their parties. Good luck.
Thank you man. That really helps, at least to solidify things in my mind. I will do that, but a lot of my “real relationships” are work related so that makes it sticky. But, never the less, I am encouraged and feel a little more like I can have a sane conversation with a woman about the subject. I will keep you posted.
Most grown men will freak out if you talk about castration. Women will label you as a dangerous pervert if you bring it up to a woman, especially at work. You d get turned in to some save you from yourself type of mental health unit or be suggested for the sex offenders list.
This is a turn on that you ll have to keep between your wife and you. If castration comes up in some way not caused by you, you can sit back and see what people you know think and say about it. But if you bring it up, watch out ! People are way too eager to judge you and label you and try to cause trouble for you if they get any ammunition against you or any chance to.
Keeping this fantasy and a private turn on alone is way better than explaining this to human resources snoops at work or the local police, depending on who is called to "handle" you after you mention castration to any females. Men need to choose very carefully which men they mention castration to. Lots of men are off limits to talk to about this topic also.
Yeah, people will say I m paranoid talking like this. But just watch the news and ask your human resources staff for a list of unacceptable topics at work, or off hours with any co workers, and you ll see reality, not paranoia. Its sad but true.
Women will have to approach you on this topic, not you approach them. Its playing with bombs to bring this up to any women. No telling which one will explode on you with no warning.
I also align with SplitDick's viewpoint. I work for a University where sexual harassment, abuse and rape charges have been made, mostly by women. Investigations reveal that nearly all of the charges are truthful. I also have direct experience with fraternities as misogyny factories where young men learn to manipulate and dominate women. There seems to me no question that women are frequently put in subordinate positions by powerful men and that the reports of abuse by men that are being revealed are nearly always credible.
I have considered myself a feminist since before the dawn of the women's movement because I saw women routinely treated poorly and denied basic rights by the dominant male culture. Yes, women are the majority of grade school teachers, but they are there partly because they recognize the importance of teaching, but also because they have been historically denied access to male-dominated positions. "If you can't do...teach" is an expression that demeans women (and any male teachers as well). We are in a horrible mess of a world deeply wounded by the lack of full equality of women. Can anyone seriously doubt that Congress would function much better if women achieved parity?
A lot of the imbalance in the status of women and men has to do with social norms that have evolved slowly over thousands of years. There are examples of female-dominated societies, but they are few. I do believe that part of the problem is excessive Testosterone that peaks in young men and can drive them crazy. While important for the survival of the species, we have created over the generations far more complex societies, vastly developed learning and an understanding of the physical and biological forces of nature. The structure of relationships of all kinds have evolved in parallel. Although I love the female form and find it very erotic, I would never choose female friends or a wife based on the size of her breasts. I am strongly attracted to intelligent, independent-minded and kind women who are also physically attractive.
As my testosterone has declined with age, I find that I like myself more. I don't have to fight its influence to see women as sex objects nearly as much as I did when I was much younger. My libido has declined such that my wife's is stronger them mine. I'm happy to oblige her if she wants sex. I think I'd be happy to let her control my Testosterone levels if I become a eunuch.
One solution for society for sexual harassment and achieving parity is to castrate perps of such offensive conduct. Perhaps performed in a public square setting, as is often depicted in eunuch fiction? Could be a strong deterrant. And it is no worse cruel and unusual punishment than the perps than their victims suffered.

I don't favor punishing in such a humiliating way for actions that men have only partial control over. It's too easy to punish the wrong people and fail to punish others who have committed offenses. I don't know about the deterrent value anyway. The only way to deal with the situation evenhandedly would be to control Testosterone in all men, especially young ones when it normally peaks. Could it be possible to take the rough edges off of maleness without castration? Men don't have to be muscle-bound or overly aggressive. And they don't need to have such a strong sex drive that may lead them to dominate women. Would a T reduction of say 10% result in gender equality and the abolition of violence and war? Would men and women enjoy one another much better? Would there be a large enough population of young men willing to participate voluntarily in a large study that could perhaps answer these questions? I don't know if I would have been willing to volunteer when I was young but we live in different times.

The biggest problem, is of course, false accusations. A woman can tear her blouse on her own and point at a man and say Rape. The man has very little recourse from that charge. This is why I side with Men's Rights groups, Because Men have sacrificed and crippled themselves physically and emotionally to feed, house and protect women and children. None of their pain and achievement is registered in feminist rhetoric, which portrays men as oppressive and callous exploiters.
Maybe we should go back to what the ancient Greeks and Romans already knew and practiced with their men. Make it culturally approved for males to walk into any men s bathroom or locker room or similar male only places to enjoy gay sex as openly and guilt free as we piss in public men s rooms. Let the extra horny males service, enjoy, and exhaust each other voluntarily and 24 hours a day with no police chasing and arresting them for relieving a very natural male need and desire, especially for younger males lacking wives and ever eager and willing to have sex girlfriends. Males can enjoy their higher sex drives together.
You don t hear of much sexual harrassment or rape where men can empty their balls as much as they want with each other. Then their testosterone can be super high and just enjoy it with other horny males of their choices. The under aged jail bait would need to service each other to prevent those problems from always ruining it for everyone else

You are correct my friend but, I wish there were something we could do about this attitude. It is clearly wrong and based in myth. The perversion of religion to justify the misdeeds of people pushing their own agenda cloaked as religion is what has led to the insanity that persist in society in relation to sex. Sex is God’s greatest gift to humanity and basically 3 religions has succeeded in destroying that gift for most of humanity. I think it is obvious to a sane person that that in neither good or Godley. But it is custom and tradition, so if you challenge it they will come after you with a stake and pitchforks. This BS cloaked as religion is probably why most of us have this fetish. The guilt drummed in our heads at puberty by the preacher becomes biologically hard wired into our brains and it can’t be changed no matter how hard we try. Hence, I am pretty pissed at all preachers at this time. They, in my opinion have caused more damage to society at this point than any other force. But, can’t bring this up at church, or the “preachers” may get pissed. It would blow their cover and they wouldn’t have as easy a life as pedophiles or whatever they actually are. But, I still have hope for humanity that someday we will be able to logically discuss subjects such as sex without all the insanity. You are correct, we are a long away from that at this point. But I am trying.
A point in a past post was that news/newspaper organizations are not here to report the news, they are here to make money. They make money by selling advertisements. Advertisers want eyeballs and the news organizations get those by headlining rules like 'if it bleeds it leads.' I write as a hobby and I agree with that. Periodically there will be some wave sweep over the world like the current one of harrassment and bullying that has eyeball grabbing stories. Personally I think the current issues need airing, but my point is we tend to go overboard. What did Lorenna Bobbitt and scattered cases thru the years have to do with the lives of millions of men and women? What do 20 or 40 headlines in Hollywood or Washington have to do with my personal life? Not much. More of running joke with couples with senses of humor.
Once the internet came along and you could connect with men who have castration fantasies/reality, it was interesting to me the number who would not even tell their wife because they were afraid of her reaction. In my old age I am still trying to understand myself and life. Right now I am doing a series of webinars on enneagram types and how, really deep down below the subconscious there is a core good/bad programming that runs us. It is amazing how often I do a LOL because it absolutely hits the nail on the head. Same for my wife. The bad side would have a story line like: "How bad am I? I am so bad that nobody could ever love me." That is the deep core where personal insults can stick even if you breezily wave them off as ridiculous. I am not a shrink and maybe one or two here would have some comments, but I do wonder if some of the story line that you have to keep it to yourself, even from you wife and closest female friends, does not ultimately come from that core programming.
Obviously you do not march up to every female at work and ask her to castrate you, but that does not mean you have to keep it absolutely to yourself as your guilty secret. In my life there are maybe 5-10 females or maybe a few more who know my fetish. I even got a small cloth sack with two nuts inside for Christmas from a married female friend from high school. I am very active in my profession and in my community and have never found had an issue with being open with select female friends. That has gotten me over the guilt stage to where I now acccept it as just a part of me.
I am not certain the cause is testosterone, as much as arrogant misuse of power with impunity, and the lack of basic value for the dignity and respect toward others. Testosterone is an easy excuse for lack of self-control and self-responsibility for one' selfish actions.
While public castration may not be a deterrant, it would send a strong consequence message to many men who value their balls and manhood over dignity and respect toward others.
You surely have one thing correct--we are in a totally different generation than In which I grew up, whereby the dignity and respect for women and other men was taught as a cherished value personal characteristic, and our character should be protected from self damage and destruction, as we can seldom recover in many ways from character damage.
