Just one of the best questions I've heard in a long time. I mean after all, one sits to saw some logs whether in the woods or at home. Sitting or squatting to make water is not uncomfortable and gets the job done.
Perhaps the concern has more to do with peer pressure from other guys. Or perhaps it has to do with not being able to stand tall beside another guy make water in communal way up close and side by side. I'm not really sure of the answer but think of how many times a person makes water during their lifetime. In the end it boils down to about the same as asking what is the difference between sitting to eat a sandwich or eating it while standing.
I agree with Begoneboy. My personal preference would be to be able to pee standing up. I really do just find it more convenient, and it's partly for that reason that I'd like to continue to pee from where the penis is severed, and I would like to lose most of it.

I suppose then, it's just a matter of preference, however, I believe that without a longer hose to aim with, if you are not rerouted, splatter will be an issue. A very short exit point is like a sawed off shot gun, the spray will be wide. Even with my reroute, I have a wide spray pattern as the urine exits my body. Certainly you can try it without a reroute first and if it doesn't suit you or becomes problematic, you can choose a reroute later.

I remember a friend's daughter, bit of a tom boy, always with the boys, being able to stand and pee as well as any of the boys!
Interesting. I've never had the pleasure of seeing a woman pee up close and personal. My wife isn't interested, and none of my girlfriends were either. Shucks!

I suspect there's no difference between a female making water and a nullo making water. Got to get the liquid out of the body without a hose to direct it. I don't understand why so many have a concern, it is after all a physical requirement to get the liquid out of the body. And neither the female nor the nullo have that hose to aim. (hopefully guys aim or at the very least clean the bathroom in the house instead of sharing how dreadfully inconsiderate they are towards the others in the house.
Having peed sitting since I was 24 when I had my first Prince Albert piercing, I find that it is far the better way to carryout the function. Now as a eunuch with the start of a subincision, I can say it is definitely the better way.
Same as you ukcutbear, I prefer to sit to pee. I have worn a prince Albert for over 20 years and have a 1/2 and 1/8 inch ring through the same hole. It is definately not accurate so sitting is the best. Though I wear overalls for work I can pee standing up rather than strip off. I have to direct the flow, by allowing it to run off my fingers and into the bowl. This is a technique that I have perfected over years of practice, lol

i have to admit I've found sitting to pee much easier and better than I expected after standing for almost 50 years. It has proved to be nice to always leave the seat down at home and sit down to take a quick leak and move on. I'm getting more and more at ease about my nullification surgery (even date set now) and the ease of sitting has really helped too.
I stood to pee when possible for around 54 years. However, I have sat or squatted "FULL TIME" for the past 22 years; at home, away, and even when outside without facilities. (other than in the shower). I find sitting to be much more pleasant and comfortable. The biggest problem is the lack of adequate stalls in most men's public restrooms. Total nullification with a proper reroute would not be a problem for me. I totally support and look forward to having multi-user unisex public restrooms with adequate stall privacy.
