Aggression?
I was wondering if anyone could comment on the effects of castration on reducing aggression and anger? I realize that it's not a cure for everything, but since I'm already considering castration I was wondering if it has a noticeable effect on how easily you become provoked?

Re: Aggression?
If you are not a nice person, castration will not change you to a nice person but may reduce your aggression but not anger.

Re: Aggression?
Yes your aggression and anger can be less than with higher testosterone levels for some men, losing one might lower your T level. But the bad affects on erections, sex drive, and sexual ability and the reduced masculinity of your body are far worse for most men than anger and aggression. There are way easier ways to deal with anger than castration. You might end up meaner than before getting steered.

Re: Aggression?
Not expecting miracles, nor is it the primary motivation for considering castration. Just wondering if it would be an added benefit.

Re: Aggression?
Good to hear that ! Yeah getting less angry might be some extra benefit to losing your balls. But think of all the angry women who never had any balls or testosterone in their bodies !! Why are they so angry and aggressive with no balls lol ??

Re: Aggression?
The problem is that people mix up the different types of aggression. Testosterone-fueled aggression can be violent but is also more "fun" and often feels more like competitiveness, thrill-seeking, toughness in face of pain/adversity and unwillingness to be dominated by others. In contrast people without testosterone can in many ways be more aggressive in terms of having short patience, being extremely irritable, argumentative, greater mood swings, and basically bitchy.
If you're angry about petty stuff going on in your life, that probably isn't testosterone. If you feel like it might be kinda fun to go to war with North Korea, that probably is testosterone.
