That makes me wonder what would happen if you cheated and jacked off too early and shot a load ? Bust stitches or bleeding or what ? Drs never explain enough. I m betting some men have on here.
the only wait explained was for that. I do not want to bust the stitches there. Some are starting to come out. I can wait another week to gently take care of things. I do have a follow up appointment next week. He at first said 4-6 weeks, or when the stitches first come out gently using it was fine. I’m actually surprised I haven’t had a wet dream yet.
I only waited three weeks after I had my penis amputated before I tried something. I probably should have waited longer, but damn, that first orgasm was amazing. I just need to know I could still do it, something I wasn't worried about after I was castrated.

And men remain fertile until all their internal tubing is free of live sperm that can shoot out for many weeks after vasectomies and castrations. So, for a while, a man can impregnate women with no testicles on him.
it has been a rough two weeks. I had an appointment last week with my urologist, he didn't seem overly concerned with the healing, just said that if the incision looked red, there was heat, or swelling. I haven't had too much of any of them. There were a few days last week where the pain was unbearable. It lasted a few hours each time, but alternating ice and heat seemed to be the best. I'm doing pretty good now. Almost all the stitches are out of the circumcision, and the pain from erections has ended. I gently tried things out last night, and the orgasm was one of the strongest I've ever had. Between the two, the circumcision has been the one that has taken the most adjustment. The daily pain I was experiencing is gone, and I wish I had this done sooner. Even with the few days last week the overall result has been better. I just need to not push things too quickly, and that includes being active. I'm itching to get back to the gym.
What I am not liking is the lopsided look that is starting to happen. There was obvious benefits to retaining one, but there's a little voice that I have that is nagging that I should have asked to have them both taken. I'm sure it will pass.
I think the worst of every thing is over. I ended up in the ER one night because I had a bad fever, and was worried that things had become infected. Got an IV with antibiotics and saline, and was released the in the morning. For the most part aside from an occasional ache, about a 1/10 there’s nearly no pain. The stitches from the circumcision are all out, so I finally got some use out of it, other than rubbing one out. It was an experience, then again I rarely was the top in our relationship. I have noticed that I lost about 2 inches of flaccid length, and maybe about 3/4 erect. Not overly concerned, it was just a surprise.
I am curious if my scrotum will shrink at all since it is only holding one nut, rather than two. It is still slightly swollen, but not too bad. Time will tell i guess.
Thanks for the update. It helps other men to know what to expect. I hope your healing goes smoothly from here on. Good thing you took fast action on that fever. The earlier you get help, the faster you kill an infection.
Man, that loss in penis size is too bad. Glad you don t mind it much. Most men would be really pissed off by losing dick size from a circumcision. You expect it from a castration, if a man goes without getting replacement testosterone to keep his eunuch penis erecting to stay enlarged and healthy.
How are your orgasms and ejaculations now ? It sounds like you can still masturbate and shoot. How has your semen changed ?
The orgasam I had from sex was very good. I had a condom on at the time, but it was still very good. Feeling was good as well. I haven’t noticed any changes in the ejaculate, most of that comes from the prostrate anyway. Generally when we are having sex I am the bottom and will orgasam while he is, um, yeah. That hasn’t changed much, except that I can make it longer Than before. I have never been much into masturbation, really the only thing that has changed at the moment is that I can’t grab my balls, er, ball, quite yet. It is a bit too tender for that yet. The feelings are “normalizing” daily. The length changes, as I explained in a different post, don’t bother me, just were a surprise.
As for the fever, the surgeon warned me that if there was a fever and Tylenol didn’t help within two hours of taking it to go to the ER. It just suddenly started after lunch one day, I thought it was just lunch not agreeing with me, but I kept feeling warmer. Went to the office nurse just to get my temperature taken and was at 99 point something. (At 3pm) Went home early, popped two Tylenol and woke up drenched at 5 pm, I had my partner take me to the ER, which thankfully wasn’t busy, and the temperature was at 102. Things got hazy, from there, but I woke up a few hours later with an IV, a catheter, and was freezing. They admitted me, and keep me overnight for “observation.” After a poor night of sleep and a crappy hospital breakfast they released me around 11 am. My urologist stopped by in the morning to look at things, and visually he couldn’t see anything. Just said to keep my regular appointments.
I have another follow up, another ultrasound, and another psych appointment in the next week. I’m really ready to just move on with my life.
Sounds like you re handling it all perfectly. Sorry to hear about the fever and hospital stay. Your psych dr.ought to love your move on, everything is ok attitude, and being ok with all your changes. Best wishes getting on with your life and being pain free !
6 months later all is well. Zero pain. My scrotum has seemingly shrunk and is perfectly sized for the one remaining nut. I've picked up about 1/4 inch of the lost length from the circumcision. That has turned out exceedingly well. Sex hasn't really changed much. Life is much much better. I am contemplating having the remaining one and my scrotum removed. I keep fearing that I'll have the same issue on the good side. It is starting to become a mental thing now. It'll probably a few years before that happens. Anyway. Life is good.
