Getting a tighter circumcision by shrinking my dick, pre-op?

I've done a lot of research regarding the pros and cons of circumcision (which includes all the anger fuelled misinformation!) and I think I want to get a very low and tight circumcision to assist with my overall shrinkage.

Im assuming that the doc will have "humane" limits as to how tight they will cut, so I was wondering if I resume my Edronax pills prior to the op (which literally shrinks my flaccid size from around 2.5-3" to about 1-1.5") it will result in me getting a tighter cut? (I'd also tell the doc that my hard size isn't much different... as I'm assuming that if you're a grower, they'll be less reluctant to cut tightly).

Does that seem technically correct, or will temporarily shrinking my dick before the op have no real effect in the tightness of the resulting cut?

Don't know, but a little dick from no T does leave lots of skin to spare. I don't see why this shouldn't be taken into account when taking the surplus...?

The method of circumcision will also help determine the outcome (ie low/high or tight loose). There are a few newer devices for circumcision that are specifically designed to leave a low cut with very little of the inner foreskin.

The makers of these devices say that the low radical cut leaves less of the skin that is known to uptake HIV (If this is true or not isn't relevant to this thread) and that it leaves a more ascetic look (ie no two tone look).

The other advantage is that some of these devices require no surgery. Meaning no cutting live skin. They just use a tight clamp or rubber band to kill the foreskin over a week or so, then the necrotic tissue is removed painlessly.

One brand is PrePex, there are others as well.

I think most of "hate" talk about circ is directed at neo natal circumcision. If you, as an adult, want to get cut - knock your socks off.

" That is true. I am circumcised low and tight and I hate it. So no wonder that I'm opposed to neonatal circumcision. The misinformation regarding circumcision mainly concerns neonatal circumcision. As far as I am concern, there is no benefit to it and this is a curse to most boys (studies show that 2 circumcised men out of 3 have some resentment about their circumcision) and for that reason, this should be banned even for religious purpose.

Circumfetishism is just one of the numerous men fantasies and each men have the right to their own fantasy, including that one. Personnaly I prefer to have sex with uncut men but I've never rejected any circumcised man for that matter.

I had the occasion to have sexual relations with men who were into circumfetishism and who were proud of their newly circumcised dicks. The circumcision style that I prefer is LOW, it doesn't matter if it's tight or loose. I also think that adult circumcision yield better results than neonatal circumcision.

To my opinion, circumcision devices can't yield better results than freehand circumcision done on an adult man. The surgeon can contour the glans and leave no visible scars . Once again, I'd prefer a loose circumcision rather than a tight one like I had. Live up your fantasy and get it as tight as you want. I've seen photos of circumcised dicks after the fifth circumcision, there was barely no shaft shin left, the glans was attached to the pubis.

Yeah the "do it yourself" devices won't be able to give me the result I'm after (low and tight, with a frenectomy).

Im just trying to figure out if actually shrinking my dick prior to the pre-op consultation would result in a tighter cut (tighter than the doc may have done, if I was my usual size). Or maybe it'll have no effect whatsoever!?

Seems that you'd need to get rid of a meaningful amount of shaft skin to get where you want? This seems like a job for your friendly doc rather than a DIY?

(Can't tremember the poster round here, but there was a thread that looked at "degloving" the shaft. That would seem to be as extreme as you could get or want.

My old circ could do with a redo. A frenectomy and showing just a glans with little or no shaft skin is interesting...

I really think your putting the cart before the horse. You would may be wiser to wait 6 month after then get your circumcision.
