When I was a kid we used to have miles of elect. fence to maitain. I used to check it with a blade of grass. Just get a green blade of grass about 6-8 inches long, wet you're fingers, hang onto the base and put the very tip of the blade on the wire, you probably wont feel anything at first, but just keep moving you're hand closer and you will feel the shock increasing. The grass acts as a resistor of sorts. I'm sure you can imagine where to hold the grass next. Ah the things you try as a kid. This is way way way less painfull than peeing on the fence. Plus you can controll it.

I'm a mostly city kid, but have spent my time on the farm, and yes I've peed on an electric fence - ONCE!

Not pleasant, not even remotely pleasant.

Even better, though was my good ol' friend Earl who I grew up with. When we were kids in high school I was helping him one day working on his 1937 Ford sedan flathead.

We were having a heck of a time getting that box of bolts to run smoothly. After working on it for hours we had just about decided to call it a day and do something that was hopefully more enjoyable.

The other kid that was there with us, Dave, said "Well piss on it! I'm outta here!

At that, earl jumped up on the front bumper, unzipped, andproceeded to do just that.

The reason I remember that day so well is the utterly amazing sound Earl made as he did a back flip off that bumper when he peed on one of the sparkplugs.

Other than getting the wind knocked out of him, some bruises from his ungraceful landing, and some burns inside his pecker he really didn't get off that badly.

He did end up getting a bit skittish when working on that Ford's engine though ...

A friend of mine who used to do tattooes tells the story of one tough young guy who got all sorts of tattoos in exchange for sex.

One day the little juvenile delinquent decided to run from the police through a subway yard and fell on the third rail. My forend tells me that tattoos survive electric burns.

I guess that means if you have a cock tattoo you can pee on an electric fence and the tattoo won't be harmed.

Well, I can truly say, You CAN pee on an electric fence and live. I did as a child about 4. I think I mentioned this in one of my posts. About as exciting as when, while putting circuit breakers on a breaker box (600 amp type box) and my had slipped and hit the bus bar in the middle. A rather tingly effect in the arm. Good thing I had rubber soled shoes on.

Playing with electric fences was always a thing growing up. Holding someone and grabbing the fence, daring each other to pee on it. Hours of endless fun.

One of my neighbors finally gave in and put up an electric fence to keep the deer out of his garden. I haven't asked him if it was successful.

I believe "Mythbusters" did a segment on this. Their conclusion was that because the stream of urine breaks up in the air and is not continuous, it is almost impossible to get real a shock that way. Sounds like someone here has busted that myth-bust.

Believe me, it is NOT only possible but has happened. Granted an electric fence won't electrocute you but you whill sure feel it. And if peeing, you don't think the pee will ever stop.
